QUOTE(Human Nature @ Jan 17 2012, 04:50 PM) The latest card statement follows maybank format too. Extra pages showing total purchases and rebates for 2011. Yes. Just received my statement this afternoon. It says (BASIC) on that page after my credit card number. Not sure what it means. |

QUOTE(aeiou228 @ Jan 19 2012, 11:32 AM) Few years ago, due to late payment after the statement due date, I accidentally discovered that Citibank had a secret unpublicized 7 days grace period AFTER THE STATEMENT DUE DATE without charging any late payment penalty and overdue interest. It's 2 days after the due date for HSBC.Apparently, OCBC also have the some grace period for late payment after statement due date. Again, I omitted my OCBC Titanium December statement due date on 1 Jan 2012 and only paid on 5 Jan 2012. When received my latest statement yesterday, No penalty and No overdue interest charge. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Apr 3 2012, 06:58 PM) Well, I'm not sure what is the selection criteria. My mom's first application for the OCBC Titanium MasterCard was rejected too. I found out through their hotline on the third day after i helped my mom to email them the application form. So, i immediately wrote them another email to ask them to review the decision made and told them the credit limit can be as low as RM2,000 and her main purpose to apply for the card is to take advantage of the generous cash back system comes with the card and also for convenience. So, they reviewed her application and the earlier decision was reversed just a day after i emailed them the appeal email I fulfill the income criteria and have been a good paymaster, yet I got rejected. Now in appeal case... My agent is helping me, even he has no answers for me. This post has been edited by MilesAndMore: Apr 4 2012, 02:34 AM |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Apr 5 2012, 01:18 AM) The agent didn't tell me about this. Some more tell me I can get higher CL compared to my CIMB and Maybank. No need a high credit limit for this particular card. Just use it in places giving 5% cash back and use up to only RM1k/month Either I call him tomorrow that I could tolerate with lower CL or just wait till this first round of appeal has an update for me. QUOTE(Vcys86 @ Apr 5 2012, 01:54 PM) May i know approx. how many days you guys wait for the application result after getting the verification call from OCBC officer? I found out through their hotline that my application had been approved on the third day. They never call me, by the way. Will they call to inform the result? or through email? |
