Mr.Dmitriy is come fro Ukraine, he is a Acoustics Engineering, specially in Physical Acoustics, so he is a professor in Acoustics Engineering. Now work as a Technical Consultant in Stp. Before he work as a Technical Consultant in Stp, he is a experts in Car Audio System, he won alot of champions in EMMA, ISACA international competition.

Mr.Dmitry said : If you wan to get maximum effect use complex of suitable materials for each surface and follow " Applications instructions. Acoustic Materials" . Different materials are different effective.

3 catagories of soundproof :

a) Vibrations Damping Materials
user posted image
- Reduce the low frequency noise (50hz - 1000hz)
- absorb / reduce the vibrations

b) Sound Damping Materials
user posted image
- Reduce / Absorb / Reflect the mid high frequency
- Reduce wind noise, road noise and heat insulating properties.

c) Contact Damping

- Absord mid to high frequency
- Required to eliminate squeak of the contacting element of interior and also for joint sealing

Only use a suitable materials of soundproof, then just can efficiently to reduce the noise. If not。。。。。just wasting ur money tongue.gif

about the door panel, if you have enough budget, better full vibration damping, then add another Contact Damping

so the deadening at only a small part at the door?not the whole door?
*
StP BiMast Bomb series @ Optimal effect is reached after 40-50%of the square is treated

StP Vibroplast @ Optimal effect is reached after 70-80% of the square is treated
