need help, accidently deleted profile, saved games

I transferred content (all) to a USB drive assuming it will make a copy and not 'cut & paste'. Had to use the USB for other purpose so formatted it, when I turn the 360 back on all my profiles, saves and DLC gone. My question is can I re-download the DLC, I had all the DLC from ME2......

yup got it, thanks. What about saved games, my Dragons Age & ME, do I have to play it from the beginning?
