William, Simota have Stainless Steel air filter???

Wonders if the SS filters are good...?? Anyone with using it???

Thinking about it as can own self clean with water or with air jet...

Just sent my luvly mighty white to COE yesterday....

a lot of complaints,  have to park my car there for a week !!...

complaints :

1.Paint Defect
2. Water ingress/leak ( wet carpet)
3. Absorber sound
4.Hissing sound when speed above 100kmj
5. reverse gear hard to engage

Scratched or paint peel off..!!!     

Smallish scratch can be removed by Scratch-X, but if deep lines... then repaint the whole bumper (and remember to paint black the center part lo.... )

I fixed at JE Auto in SS2.....good service there....

i fixed front first. stability was much better during high speeds. then i fixed the rear anti roll. immediate different feeling. before fix, when moving ard 170 ish, back feels a bit floaty, but after fix, stable.

cornering time, also feels more sturdy and feel more confident.

original inspira anti roll was only 4mm, very tiny and thin.

front strut bar, not anti roll, and rear anti roll. fix both is enough. I fixed it RM 170 and RM 450 respectively. Dunno ex or not, but I always go there recently.

might as well top up abit more and do autofoam. gives better handling results and you get improved NVH to boot.

just got my car fixed, said the ECU connector or wat, loosen up..not properly connected..as such, the jerking of engine

after much delay & consideration (with a lot of help from this thread ).. i decided to go with 2.0.. but still, deep down, still fear i will regret and miss the feel of manual.. hmm.. and have to sabar for a while as no more cash to do any modification and so many mods also coming out for 1.8 (hint2 speedworks) .. adusss, sempat tukar order lagi ni..... 

btw, anyone has experience on spraying rim diff colour? saw someone do it near my office and looks pretty good & even.. just not sure how long it can last?

Our rear anti-roll/sway is 16mm if i remember correctly.
Autofoam is not better in terms of handling than UR bars as far as I know. This is taken from comments at the autofoam thread in FnF Technical section.
The only (and major) negative is if you meet an accident, the areas that are foamed cannot be knocked back. It doesn't make the car significantly heavier, as foam is light. UR bars are definitely heavier if you use the necessary ones to increase chasis rigidity.

Inspira should be 22 front 16 back, Lancer GT should be 22 front and 22 back. This is based on bro Azmann's post in the "other" forum lol. That's why Inspira is said (by the suspension engineers and car reviewers) to oversteer less compared to LGT. Stiffer rear antiroll = body rolls less, so it feels more steady generally, but the back wheel suspension becomes so rigid that you get less grip at extreme cornering due to the inner wheel being slightly lifted off the ground. Whether that's a good or bad thing however, is up to you haha. Drifters want it oversteer, but drifters dont drive front wheel drive cars lol.

What do you mean by your bro say strut bar have very very significant improve? if he said that then why he say change antiroll better? LOL. blur.

Matrix, they will only offer the semi-synthetics. if u wan do it outside urself every 5k km, i just did tht last week, use other semi-synt.  oil n the filter and the washer/gasket for the oil plug
