HILTI (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is a manufacturing company of professional construction (drilling & coring machines) & precision (laser) tools. This company also manufacturing both mechanical and chemical fasteners (bolts). It is NOT from Germany as perceived, but Liechtenstein. However, the largest MO by sales is from Germany. HILTI (Malaysia) has a few branches nationwide and Malaysia HQ has relocated to their new office in Oasis, Ara Damansara, Subang from Sunway, PJ since December, 2013. However, the sales and logistic departments remains behind. The office in Phileo Damansara is to accommodates IT support dept.

Yes, it is a great company to work with and majority of the employees has easily worked for more than 10 years. Some of the salesmen I knew of in HILTI are millionaires. HILTI utilizes the latest soft wares to support their business worldwide. They are by far the one of the few companies that is willing to invest heavily in soft wares. HILTI has used SAP in the late 90s. HILTI Malaysia is the first 4 MOs worldwide to utilize this software.

Overall, I would say that it is a good training ground for fresh graduates and a wonderful company to work in if you are looking for international exposure. After all, it is a MNCs.

As for the comment on "cina apek" management, may I know which companies in Malaysia that is run by Chinese that does not possess the Cina apek management style?

Most importantly, you must understand that a company is only great because of their greatest asset that is the employees, and that means you. If you have what it takes to make a good company, by all mean, do approach the company anytime soon!

I am not at liberty to discuss whether or not the company is good or bad but it all boils down to the experience you go through individually. Some might not feel what I felt, because if they did, then no one would be employed there. But if you ask for my personal opinion, if I were to be given an offer today to work there, I wouldn't. I would avoid the place like the plague. Simply because I don't feel like working in an environment where the senior employees would treat potential/new employees in a very arrogant manner, as I felt I had been treated. I wouldn't want to be in a toxic working environment like that. And that is, again, as I've stressed before, my own personal opinion.

In order for you to know for sure, you gotta apply for a job there and attend the interview(s). Then, you can share your experiences here for the benefit of others. What you go through might differ from what some of us have went through, so it could give a different perspective of the "Hilti way". 

P/s: Just to clarify, my interview with Hilti is limited to Hilti IT Asia Services and not other divisions of Hilti, so my experience might not correlate with yours if you applied for a different role.
