ppl that i knew work for hilti never want to go back. For a mere position like SAP analyst, they require candidate to interview with senior management like CIO in Hilti HQ? As far as I m concerned, Hilti is not Shell Oil. I hope they dont think they are at level of Shell. They are not even half of Shell presence in Malaysia. Shell CIO has no time for puny interview like this. When they requested cgpa > 3.5 with very limited salary cap, question, who wants to bother interview there? I see vacancy like SAP analyst keep appearing on jobstreet. Their office at phileo 2 is not any glamorous at all, infact it is far from glamorous. laugh.gif

And there's supposed to be a FIFTH interview should I pass the fourth one, but unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you see it), I didn't. Five interviews for a junior role in their IT Services team seem like a bit too much for me. But as one forummer said, it is up to them and it is their right to conduct interviews anyway they see fit, so...

In a nutshell, this is what I could summarize from some forummer's responses:
> The "cina apek" style is definitely there. The company is mostly Chinese, with one Indian guy in the team and no Malay or Sikh or other races on sight.
> I, too, have no idea what criteria is Hilti expecting. Probably the perfect candidate/employee. But newsflash, with 5 interview sessions, rest assured the perfect candidate/employee would have been snagged by someone else by then.
> For a company that presents itself as being "people-friendly" and "people-centric", I feel that they don't really respect potential candidates and would undermine their achievements and knowledge at any given chance they get. So, be prepared (and be patient) to feel insulted during their interviews (just a personal opinion).
ChrisB That's my whole point incase you have missed it. 5 rounds of interview just for junior position. Haha. As I have posted earlier, HILTI CIO will interview you via tele-con for a puny position. Even if you succeeded entering the company, the "HILTI" reputation itself is nowhere near Shell or other MNC, stated in your CV. If they wanted to hire the best person, they should have compensated with good salary and good working environment. HILTI is nowhere near that, with more than 4 stages of interviews with limited salary cap, go ahead and apply it. waste your time.

Good pointers.  Especially the bolded part.  I feel you.  Same thing happened to me.  Just interviewed yesterday supposedly for a top local company.  Got berated instead.  I admit I am not an smart person but no need to be so arrogant.  Stay away from these kind of companies. No need to be desperate.

The one who interviewed me act as if he is really professional, mighty senior (maybe he is)
but at the end of interview...he asked if I have any questions...I asked about the main projects or objectives they are trying to receive now or in the near future... He talked about how many departments and what they do =.=" These are already described and can be found at internet... I am not sure if he was trying to keep their projects as a secret or he don't understand my questions.

Perhaps they should not act arrogant towards interviewee.. Hilti gave me the worst impression among all the interviews I have attended. Nevertheless, this was just my experience..

did you not read what ppl posted here? They act professional like Shell expecting top notch quality candidate to fill their position but offer puny salary in return. End of the day, it's china man managing the compay. stop wasting time lar.

I remembered they promoted heavily in my uni back then. Wanted the cream of the crop but offered less than 3k.
