it's not Pos Malaysia tax but custom tax..the tax would be 10+15 % from the total cost including shipping.. if u want Pos Malaysia to be u'r agent, they will charge u RM50 for their service and shipment to u'r nearest Pos Office..in my case; from LCCT to Kota Bharu Pos Office

last time i bought Transformers from HK..toys+shipping cost around RM7xx only..but after tax the total damage is RM9xx

if they declare below RM 500 should be no prob ehh .... if more than 500 .....tax cant lari ed..... i once buy from US....1.7k and kena tax of RMM 400 ++ but they give discount because show them sad face ..... so at last i pay rm 250 !

the downside if its lost then u only can get back whats declared.

u should ask the seller to separate the item into to shipment then declare it under Rm500...if u r using EMS then thats very little chance item got problem during shipment...if SAL then different story...

Ebay/Paypal.... declared for goods+postage could be well below RM500 but you still can claim full cost of what you paid..... Besides overhike/goreng price is not the value of the goods price.

not all parcel will be open & check by custom. When they want to check our good, then it was insured..they won't open it without our permission. So they called us to open and declare the content + value..it's doesn't mean whey our parcel have been held by custom..we have to pay the tax
