The new Talk More 28 seems like a really great deal. RM28 for 200mins and 100sms !!
Thinking of changing to this (including RM38 500MB data) from my Internet Value plan RM50 since I don't really use more than 500MB |

QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Nov 13 2012, 10:19 PM) wow, I also don't think I can reach 2gb quota lol If you hardly call/sms, then wouldn't your Youth Club plan be much better? Just get the internet plan that's available for only prepaid users. Last I remembered it's something like RM1/day for dunno how much data..talkmore / textmore 28 + 500mb mobile internet seems not bad, but for me I very very less make call and sms so surfmore 50 is enough for me yet, I just get the brochure for the surf more plan, and is stated november 2012 only got this plan One thing I regret jumping from HYC to Maxis Postpaid are the dirt cheap call/sms rates lol |

QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Nov 13 2012, 10:35 PM) I got think about that too, is good and cheap also How much data do you use normally per month? This is the key here..yet when I want use the mobile internet on certain day / week / month only subscribe but very expensive compare to postpaid mobile internet plan, rugi a lot LOL personally I am just a student, normally use back HYC btw how you know I am HYC ?? still thinking whether want to go for surfmore plan anyway thanks for suggestion Err..actually you save a lot more if you're going for daily internet plans...let's just say RM1/day for 100MB data. More than enough right? Like you said, you use mobile internet on certain days, so let's say you use 20 days in 1 month, you only spend RM20/month for internet data alone. Compare that to RM50/month for the commitment fee for SurfMore 50 I'm currently using Surfmore50 with 2GB data allocation now but hardly used more than 500MB actually. I thought I could tether with my laptop but I really seldom do it lol. If possible, I want to go back to HYC LOL You mention it yourself that you're using HYC mah Update: It seems that for prepaid, it's currently RM2/day for 100MB This post has been edited by -kytz-: Nov 13 2012, 10:59 PM |

Bloody shit Maxis ate RM3 from my monthly bills all these while for some stupid "Call Waiting" feature which tells you if another number is waiting for you when you are in a call
I only knew when I signed up for the online payment services recently. Sheeeesh. Also, unticked itemised billing to save another RM5... |

QUOTE(PainHacker @ Sep 15 2013, 12:09 AM) hey guys just want to ask which plan has a cheap monthly commitment, got free call and sms plus i need data for whatsapp,fb and twitter. Dont really need big data since i got wifi at home but i just need it so i able to whatsapp/fb/twitter while working. idk which one to choose whether postpaid or prepaid For Postpaid:Value Plus Internet RM50/month 100mins call 100sms 250MB data IMHO, 250MB should be more than enough for your usage. http://new.maxis.com.my/content/maxis/en/p...rnet.html#vpi50 For prepaid, you can just subscribe for the SOCIAL LITE plan which is RM10/week,free 75MB, free usage for Facebook and Twitter (mobile websites) http://new.hotlink.com.my/content/hotlink/...ernet-plan.html p/s: It mentioned Facebook java app so I'm not sure whether it means android app? QUOTE(PainHacker @ Sep 15 2013, 12:50 PM) thank you so much for giving me the info. But i found that the postpaid plan quite expensive for me, is there any cheaper plan? Value Plus Internet 30 is supplementary line..edit: already found it the "Value Plus Internet 30" but is there anything that i missing? I'm afraid that if you are only willing to spend RM30-40 a month to enjoy free calls/sms and also DATA, there is no postpaid plan suitable. Even for prepaid, you have to expect to spend minimum of RM40++ For internet, the cheapest you can get is RM8/week for 100MB. http://new.hotlink.com.my/content/hotlink/...t-packages.html That's the thing about data here in Malaysia, you have to pay a lot of $$ for it (with exception to Umobile or other cheaper telcos) |

QUOTE(PainHacker @ Sep 15 2013, 01:42 PM) i found that umobile is very cheap, but does it very reliable and efficient? how about the coverage? Depends on what you are asking about? Line coverage or Data coverage? As for the line, I have never faced a situation where there is totally no line coverage, except for once in a shopping mall toilet |

QUOTE(gvr @ Sep 24 2013, 06:58 PM) For this plan, does it have any monthly commitment? Telcos are never that kind, I think you have to top up for validity period. Just like RM30 for 30 days.Say, if I just wan to surf with 64kbps and do not make any call/sms, does that mean I don't have to pay a single cent? |

QUOTE(_dan @ Dec 18 2013, 08:11 PM) Hi maxis fans, I wanna know more about surf50 postpaid plan. In the website stated that monthly commitment is rm50 with 2GB internet allocation. Does these mean I pay rm50 only for 2GB internet allocation and I will be charged for sms and call as PAYU? Yes, don't forget there is a service charge also.Tq |

P/S: Can anyone confirm that prepaid 1GB/month for RM30 can qualify for LTE speed?
