Waterco has a buy-back option for existing clients in exchange of a new unit for 1300 inclusive of installation... just in case you are thinking of getting something new...

hmm..the W300 is about 1800-1900 if i remember rightly...

to dismantle and replacing sands will cost not less than 500 (again, if I remember right!)...so, if you have used that unit for so many years...it maybe worth to get the trade-in offer from waterco.

For me, my plumber auto reinstall that old unit for me without me asking..so i tot what the hack, let's use it for another year or so..
