i'm still using my waterco (almost 8 years old) after my reno..

Waterco has a buy-back option for existing clients in exchange of a new unit for 1300 inclusive of installation... just in case you are thinking of getting something new...

jojozep..
to dismantle and replacing sands will cost not less than 500 (again, if I remember right!)...so, if you have used that unit for so many years...it maybe worth to get the trade-in offer from waterco.

For me, my plumber auto reinstall that old unit for me without me asking..so i tot what the hack, let's use it for another year or so.. smile.gif

The sands I replace every year since it's not very expensive. I replace it for RM550. Safer water consumption judging by our water is a bit..dirty XD
