INFO:

Most, if not all car manufacturers, now incorporate the Electronic Throttle or E-Throttle to their engines. The throttle was previously directly controlled by a steel cable. Modern setups are now driven by electric motors and electronics. One major reason for the car manufacturers to do this was easy incorporation of various options such as traction control, cruise control & others. A major complaint about the E-Throttle is its laggy response which makes the vehicle less responsive to each prod of the throttle pedal.

One product available now is the Electronic Throttle Controller (ETC) that essentially, works like a piggyback that changes the signals going to the car’s ECU. This ETC allows the driver to select various settings to suit their driving style & requirements such as modes for economy or speed. A throttle pedal angle of say 30 degrees, in economy mode, the throttle plate will open only 15 degrees whereas in speed mode, 62%. In speed mode, the throttle plate opens faster and wider giving the driver the sensation of an extremely sensitive engine allow fast driver quicker response from their rides.

An ETC is easy to fit comes with a set of connectors that interfaces the throttle pedal signals to the ECU. The ETC is then taught to recognize the characteristics of the car’s E-Throttle system via a few simple steps. After that, you get to enjoy the jump in instant response.

D1 Spec New Version (Slim Type) throttle controller called "7-Drive" is now available. RM500 with free installation for all models with drive-by-wire throttle. Comes with battery voltage display too. Plug & play*.

****CAMPRO SYSTEM NEEDS CUTTING & TAPPING****

IMPROVED features:

(1)Over speed warning - programmable speed limit to warn you upon over speeding.

(2)Avoiding from unintended acceleration - the new controller circuit is more stable.

(3)Power interruption memory embedded - the memory stays even the system is disconnected from the power source.

(4) Reverse, parking and braking deactivation - for greater safety and reliability.

This device is for Drive-by-wire Throttle. If youa re not sure about it, pls call directly for the answer. Click Drive By Wire if you want to know more about it.

PRICE: RM500

INSTALLATION: included

WARRANTY: 1 year

i had installed this during August promotion with Drex.
it's a nice product.
no increase in horsepower and torque, but increase in response is definitely noticeable.

Hi Dude,

Going to write some review about this D1 spec throttle controller for Howie. flex.gif

Last few week, just done a whole car soundproof with howie, after soundproof feeling the 30++KG soundproof materials is quite heavy for the car. The car not really willing to push now. So decided to visit Howie for the solution to gain back some pick-up.

Right after installing the throttle controller, immediately feeling the engine rev is faster, accelerate is lot faster with sport mode. No more feeling lag on Auto car.
Press a little bit then the car is pushing forward now. rclxm9.gif

On econ mode, well. The FC is improve significant. Normally 1 tank i can go for around 400-420KM on my civic, tested with econ 3 mode (Not really put into econ 5 yet, i believe econ 5 is even more fuel efficiency) . Tested with econ 3 mode, manage to increase 50-70 extra KM. That is good for me.

Well on econ mode, feeling the engine is smoother, slowly accelerate although u pressing full pedal on it. Good for a heavy pedal person for me. It help u to control ur foot.

Overall, with the half price compare of the sprint booster, definitely a worth purchase product. I believe both product working on same way. thumbup.gif

if u wan to be dedicated, yes ur eco will have 9+5 and normal will have another 9+5...but to inform u that this is not what you actually think...This is only by adjusting the throttle sensitivity, it;s not the same as the eco in hybrid car.

I mean the selected mode will still remain there if i turn off and on my car?

Im not referring to the controller setup, but the changes made to my car.

Will it reset when i turn off my engine?

Thanks!

i believe there's some confusing here.....

so to conclude,

if u have no device on ur obd, u can install this
if u have 1 device on ur obd, u can still install by us without using the obd connector

so if u have more device to connect to ur obd, u can still install my ETC because i dun really need the obd connector.

as for how many device u can connect to ur obd connector, figure out urself. i dun provide the solution for product not from me.

so means for the one with auto-cruise function, the entire installation won't void my car warranty ?also how is the installation done? is there any wire cutting involved, etc?

The Potent Booster was also recommended to me by someone for my Toyota Fortuner 4x4 Diesel but a lot more expensive than the D1 Spec 7Drive. He recommended the Potent Booster because is says that the D1 Spec does not fit the Fortuner. Is this true?
