Yah, 50GT30 at RM6K-7K would be excellent. I would've traded up.

I remember reading the flatpanelshd review for the Samsung D8000 (plasma and not the LED). They concluded that it's comparable only to the GT30. The VT30 is on another level.

You mean why ST30 at 6-7K when VT30 is 8.5K?

It's weird why ST is sold as if it's a GT in Asia, pricing wise. Clearly, for those in the know, they are being pushed towards VT in terms of perceived value.

Saw a 65" VT30 at Perfect Livin. RM 17,999. Include 2 x 3D eyewear, 1 x BluRay, 1 x DMP-BDT110, 1 x Skype camera
