there is cartoon type of red and natural red as in flower red. That is why kids like cartoon because their color is always deliberately made much more attractive. But we all know cartoon are not real or natural. Try this. Go look at real red flower and then go watch it on a Sony and you may know what i meant.
i was watching Panasonic Plasma and Panasonic LED. Both same source showing a truck.
On plasma, I see dark blood red (dark red) - setting is dynamic. While LED show dramatic red (setting is Cinema).
The problem is, I dunno the real red of the truck is which one. I tend to believe the real red is bright red eventhough
I might be wrong.

Problem is, which one is real? That time is bright daylight outdoor movie.

Red can be defined in the CIE chart. Both the pannys and samsungs get red decently accurate post calibration. In actual cases if anything samsungs are slightly undersaturated. However, I doubt it would be noticeable.
