All I can remember from last night game is our attack is almost non existent until we're 2-0 down. Ramsey doesn't do anything much and Arshavin didn't come out from his shell until that first goal. Ok, our defense is not up to it but if we take our chances well enough we would already come out top.
With the current injuries problem we really need to kill of games early on. I'm in favor of playing with two strikers when facing teams that camp on their own half. Chamakh up front and Van Persie in the pocket of space.

I only half agree about the CB issue. Beginning of the season TV was available, JD was almost ready, and Arsene bought Kos and Squillaci as cover and Alex Song can play there too if the need arise. Although he make some mistake, Kos can play fine and he stay fit almost all season long. I guess Arsene overestimate Squillaci a bit, so the only mistake is not that he doesn't buy but he's choice is not meeting the expectation. At least Squillaci is available to play. If Arsene bought a good CB that fit everybody taste but end up injured like the others, we'll be back at square one in the end.

Hoping next season we'll go back to the way it was before, Carling Cup for youngsters, FA Cup for second strings, EPL and Champions League for first XI plus minus. Playing back to back midweek and weekend for like three month is taking it's toll on the squad.

Added on March 20, 2011, 6:20 pmUnfortunately for us if the player is not injured they'll be out of form. Just look at Rosicky he's nowhere near the level before that lengthy injury.

as usual Minority brought out good points.
as for Squillaci I myself don't think he's bad, but perhaps he need a week in and a week out run of games to adjust to EPL, unfortunately people seem to expect Vermaelen type of signing - one who come, settled in quickly and give some sort of impact. It seem like as long as we don't win something any defensive mistake is going to be magnified and scrutinized like crazy.

^haha I know but stuff like Almunia last blunder shouldn't be included.

he's missing Arsenal, perhaps it just started to sink in him how great this club are and how fortunate it was for him, but unfortunately there's no u-turn.

I don't think he totally lost it, he's deflecting most of the criticism towards players to himself. It looks like he's trying to hold this squad together until they become a success. If he can't do that, there might be a change in his approach.
