honestly, i still think the ref totally changed the game. barca was good, but they only looked good because of the tactic arsene wenger chose to play, which i think wasnt the wrong one.

arsenal was only trying to sit back, defend and break on the counter attack. and at 1-1 you couldnt say our plan wasnt working. but after the red card, the plan was totally screwed.

if you did watch the match, i think the first 10 minutes of the 2nd half up until our goal kinda showed that we could play our game but chose to play something different.

I admit this is the worst defeat ever vs Barca and probably worst in several years. Maybe Arsenal try to defend their lead, but it did not gone well after RVP sent off and the stats make Arsenal look very noob. But as i said before, yesterday match will make Arsenal a better squad (just like what L. Orient manager said). Probably there are no other team can schooled Arsenal this bad than Barca, it is good experience for the players to face the best team in the world 4 times in 2 seasons (especially for Djorou, Szcezsny, Koscielny and Wilshere which can be considered newbie in European competition). And the scoreline show some improvment, you can't deny it (from 6 - 3 to 4 - 3, not bad huh?).

although the team perform badly, its still an acceptable defeat to me.
if its 11 vs 11 i tink we might still stand a chance..

i tink even the best team in the world will struggle to match them 11vs11.
but we have to play them with 10 men for more than half an hour !!

no complain from me, juz hope they get over it asap and concentrate on epl instead.

and also that time only arsenal is challenging manu
even thou after 98, they lose out to mu for the title 3 years on the row
i still prefer to support underdog instead of the fav, so been supporting them since then.
been through all the major heartbreak of galatasaray, liverpool, barca and not birmingham 

Like you said, at 56/57min, the score is 1-1, and we are going through if the score stay the same.
Barca is the better team in that match, no doubt bout it. But in football, the better team doesn't always win.

AW obviously send the team out to defend(Rosicky starts ahead of Arshavin proved this), simply because we don't have to score to go through. IIRC, in the 1st half we contain you guys pretty well, apart from Adriano's shot that hit the post, I can't remember Barca has a very clear cut chance, this means that AW's tactic is working. If Cesc didn't try to be too clever outside his own penalty box, I think at half time it would remain at 0-0.

We might not have a chance to score another goal when it's 1-1, but i have to remind you that we don't have to.
I don't deny that Barca is the better team, but I don't understand why you cant accept that that the red card changed the game.
If we have 11 players on the field, i still believe that we have a chance to defend the 1-1 score, it is after the red card we get cut open easily.

to be honest.it's really frustrating to be an arsenal fan this few years bcos of the trophy-less seasons.but dont know why, still cant ignore arsenal.haha.

I really think our main weakness is our center back position.

We need a really solid leadership style of CB.
For example, Terry, Vidic those kind of player.
Last time we have it in form of Tony Adams and Sol Campbell.

Kols and Djourou are both not leaders.

For once as an Arsenal fans, i am starting to doubt Wenger ability as a manager. His starting line up, players sub in decision all are really really poor. I know we will have a lot of problem from ManU counter play just by looking at the line up.

This team is over dependant on some players on the field already. Really speechless 90 mins of my life. With this kind of play Arsenal don't deserved to win anything at all.

The defense really got wreck a part today. There is not a single good defender today but only some luck and Almunia to save us from conceding far far more.

The midfield is a disaster. Is almost like 4-1-3 formation with Wilshere doing everything and anything.

U can see Nasri really angry towards the end? I can say he is only so frustrated with the team.

No return already for Arsenal. 3 weeks time lose 3 trophy, lose half the team.

Perhaps Arsenal already lose everything the moment Vermaelan/Fabianski got injured but it takes time only before we realise it.

Don't blame the ref,luck bla bla bla but all to blame is Arsenal.

RvP free kick didn't even reach half the wall.
Nasri with all his trickery and stuff usually to pass to either Walcott or Fabregas but totally none today.
Wilshere doing Song,Fabregas,Diaby,Denilson job at the same time.
Arshavin totally lost in the game even though he did well in 1st half.

Denilson decent? Ramsey was much better. Even the commentator said Denilson was nothing special. All he done was short passes. No penetration at all.
Arsene is the only one who know the best. Its up to him to begin a ware house sale or keeping faith to his players
