this is the funny part...
QUOTE A designer who was arrested on New Year's Eve at a studio in Old Klang Road during an alleged black metal gig was charged in a magistrate's court here yesterday. However, there was no mention of the words "black metal" in any of the four charges faced by 35-year-old Wong Der Woei. isn't it contradictorily confusing? how ironic... |

QUOTE(carpathia @ Jan 19 2006, 02:27 PM) http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=...5773&sec=courts : A designer who was arrested on New Year's Eve at a studio in Old Klang Road during an alleged black metal gig was charged in a magistrate's court here yesterday. What the f***!> how come there is a black metal concert in old klang road and no one in this forum knows about it ? sigh...this is ridiculous, the authorities is targetting the concerts now..... QUOTE(carpathia @ Jan 20 2006, 09:31 AM) What the...you know about the concert but didnt inform us? aiseyman...did we missed out on a good gig or what it wasn't really a 'black metal' concert. it's just a small hardcore/metal gig of which the capacity was less than 500 people. well most of the patrons wearing black tees so the authority with all their laziness with their brainless reporters counterpart simply assume that the gig has got something to do with devil worshipping/cattle sacrificing etc... the results more than 300 people were arrested under the pretext of attending black metal ritual/concert. read all about it here.view the fliers here. oh... it's written in bahasa, btw. QUOTE SEPULTURA'S NEW ALBUM 'DANTE XXI' COMING OUT NEXT WEEK! ORDER NOW: Germany, Europe and USA The fuzz about the new album is big in the media. Starting this month you'll be able to see SEPULTURA featured in tons of magazines worldwide. The guys have been working non-stop on interviews and promos for the release and the reviews couldn't be more positive: "classic Sepultura, malicious in their intent and destructive in their delivery... If you have not given Sepultura a second glance since Max left then now is the time you should as this will be in the top ten for the year. " 9/10 - Metal Exiles "If this is soundtrack music, it belongs in a highly personal psychological horror film." - Metal Maniacs, Ian Christe "A focused album of straightforward thrash metal leavened with the kind of progressive stylistic touches that SEPULTURA has always had a reputation for." - Blabbermouth.net, Don Kaye "Sepultura continues to be one of the more challenging metal bands on the scene." - All MusicGuide "'Dante XXI' is SEPULTURA's most important body of work since "Roots." Period, the end. Now shut up and bang your f***ing head..." - AMP magazine |
