Hi all sifu!

I have this Edifier DA5000 Pro which I can afford for my home theatre. but I need some help for my PS3 and plasma optical out then convert to 6 channel (which my Edifer only have those 6 channel plus aux).

What whould I get? I know AVR will solve the problem.

I don't have much budget, so any suggestion (low cost/used AVR? converter?)

Thanks in Advance!!!

Ed

really bit headache when your ps3 only have optical, HDMI and RCA output
i think you really need to put AVR
or look for cheap second hand pre-amplifier to convert from HDMI to 5.1 out-put
or even previous generation that not support HDMI but comes with optical, or co-axial input to generate 5.1 output

you should think about it before you bought your edifier.
just top up a bit, you can get HTiB with optical in.
