Guys, any supplier you know selling White Flood? Heard that it is quite a pre-workout supps. Thought of taking DS Craze but somehow it has an outstanding lawsuit atm.

Yeah it is man. Around RM1.70 per serving, for 100 servings. And hopefully that's the right dosage for you.

Can anyone comment on supplement88/Muscle Factory?
Im not keen on courier services and would like to visit their outlet.

What're you looking to buy? And just curious, are you new to bb and supps? Beginners don't need to look at supps until at least 2 months of consistent workouts to be fully aware of their personal needs.

This is the stage where they would be spending millions for supplements. Help our local economy grow mang biggrin.gif

Let them spend wildly  laugh.gif

On a serious note, if you know what you want precisely, you could get the supplement 1st before heading to start your consistent workout regimes.

I can't think of any that we truly need. For example: BCAA? Whey? Fish Oil? Multivit? These are most commonly used but not absolutely necessary if one has a good diet, which should come before anything else. Well, there's one that we absolutely need (personal viewpoint), that is green powders (with added probiotics) such as Green Vibrance.

Consistent workout + supplements = Change

No workout + supplements = Waste $$
BCAA is just to boost some amino acids you missed out.

Whey is to aid with extra protein that is needed in your diet. Sometimes, not everybody can have a good diet, esp for students like me. We are stuck to the kind of food that exist in our area. Thus, some supplements would actly help us a little bit, to get what we need.

Not saying it's a must, but if you can afford it, why not? It's considered something to help you as well  smile.gif
*
Technically all correct. The catch being whether you truly need and are absolutely sure what you're spending on and why. For example, I am very sure that I need whey and BCAAs because of my irregular eating habits due to a tight schedule, and I take them whenever necessary. Of course BCAAs can be used just as an EXTRA as well, (for boosting protein synthesis) which is the reason I bought it initially since I had the extra cash at that time, but after some time getting to know myself better I realise the former reason comes into play more significantly than the latter.

And I am agreeing with you. I know I need whey, BCAA as well for the same reason that you did too laugh.gif

I guess, how one wants to work their body out might differs from another but the general consensus would be, only buy what you need and not what you think you need?
*
Well I guess it's a form of consumer behaviour. I like to get the best value out of every cent I'm paying and not purely succumb to marketing and fancy write-ups. Others might not be so particular in this matter, and that's fine as well, as long as they're happy.

checking the protein online and found this thread. anyone tried magnum fusion pro 6? is it good if compare to others? new here, so asking for the expert here for opinion. thanks.

A bodybuilding targeted protein that's not being sold on bodybuilding . com would signal to me that there's potentially much more superior and value for money products out there. Checkout the top 50 best sellers at the site and read the reviews. Extra tip; don't compromise on taste..

Thanks.. currently my friends suggest me to use super mass gainer, since lot of the user succeed to gain weight and the price quite cheap. is it true?
*
That's just because you're eating more food. It's made up of whey protein (protein) and maltodextrin (carbohydrate), no?

But you're paying for shitty food just because it's given the name "mass gainer" by some marketing genius.

You were using iherb?

What I meant was the delivery period option.

Was it DHL Express international + tracking (approx 1 week delivery time)?

yup iherb during black friday sales. Yeah around 1 week only. Actually stuck at custom for 2-3days, if no stuck less than 1 week smile.gif

1 day to DHL Hub, 1 day from US to HK 1 day from HK to Kuching.
*
Just checked, the price for USPS shipping is slightly more than double that of DHL. blink.gif

Yes you're thinking what it's worthwhile since they don't declare, so peace of mind. But I'm thinking what if they check the parcel anyway, then you lose the extra shipping fees!

Too bad can't be of much help here, we're both victims of a restrictive system.

u sure USPS is double? becos tat time DHL is like USD10 and international post is 8 or 9 but overweight abit so only can choose DHL. so i straight buy 2 questbar and 1 liver detox.. then kena red card warning by kementerian kesihatan farmasi dept at Kuching lol..
*
In my shopping cart I have about US$199 worth of shortlisted goods. DHL shipping would cost me $12 (orders over $40 are given an additional shipping discount), whereas the USPS option is $24.

How did DHL declare? Was it a separate documentation?

Because standard declaration pasted on the parcel would definitely have the term 'Health Supplements', as Iherb being the shipper is bound by the law to state so.

I called DHL. They are it is their SOP that health supplement they will sendiri go declare every single items inside to KKM, they will open and inspect and since i am not licensed to bring those stuff, and those health supplement is regulated under KKM that it need the sticker also, like every other health supplement products does if u are looking at amway and sort.

i bought twice green tea extract use us airmail aka USPS via bodybuilding.com, no receive red card from custom or KKM pun.

This is bad. Luckily I saw your post before making the purchase.

USPS with or without tracking? It's different. Cheapest from bb.com is the one without tracking.

USPS when reaching Malaysia will go through the Pos Malaysia system. The procedures there might be a little more "relaxed".
*
But prone to getting lost, or "lost". One of my larger shipment never arrived.

How about your shipping procedure for your vitamins sales, do you use USPS, or the DHL etc.?

If it's the latter, it means you're taking a risk too, while being lucky all these while?

Yes that is the risk with any shipment without tracking. I've also lost a shipment before.
I always use shipment with tracking.
*
For our benefit, could you advise what shipper you use that didn't have such problems, and what types of supplements and their maximum quantity and cost in a package would have no problem as far as your experience can tell?

Hope you won't keep it as a trade secret. tongue.gif

Any of the reputable shippers like Fedex, UPS, DHL is fine. I've used all of them before.

Do you think something like the following be usually accepted if gone through DHL?

Hypothetical, but common order:

3 bottles fish oil 60 capsules
2 bottles melatonin
1 bottle creatine 200g
1 bottle calcium
1 bottle zinc
1 bottle magnesium

That's about 9 bottles of supplements in one package, costing about RM600.
