Another thing to take note about oversea units, is the warranty.
Monster Malaysia (Hwee Seng) does not honour warranty claims for oversea units.
I have received many enquiries regarding their faulty/defective oversea units. We cannot do anything about it.
So, you may save couple of hundred RM, but if you are unlucky, your unit is defective, then you are not able to do anything about it.
If you think saving few hundred is worth the shot, then go ahead.
Just make sure you know what you are getting into.
