@bingzero: in your APN settings, the type there make sure is MMS and use the MMS APN settings instead of internet settings.

Just wanna share with u guys, my gf unit encounter some hangs and unstable issues. When i check i notice some apps missing from the "Applications" app drawer. Then i struck me that those apps were "moved to SD". So I shut down the phone, unplug the memory card and replug, and then problem solved.
Added on May 6, 2011, 10:48 amBy the way, as for heating and battery issues, I experienced it on my Desire this morning. Battery status was red and not charging. When i unplug the charger the phone straight away shut down. Problem solved by reseting battery stats. This post has been edited by t3chn0m4nc3r: May 6 2011, 10:48 AM |

QUOTE(wayne78 @ Jun 10 2011, 12:35 AM) iphone can also do a lot of hacking..... more easier..... but anyway overall still ok for me..... ip4 is the easiest to hack by far. It's proven in a few hacking competitions. Android work can be shortened if you are a techy guy. You can batch back up and batch restore in a few taps. SD? I don really bother what's in my SD unless I need to partition it. You can also make use of ROM manager to try out a few different ROMs. iP4 only has 1 hack which is to JB. After that you can play with Saurik's stuff by Jay Freeman which also is an Android supporter. i manage to swap the sd card... easy and fast but got abit lagging maybe i use kingston 16gb class4 that y abit lag..... |

QUOTE(blueprint @ Jun 30 2011, 01:11 PM) greetings all... I think something wrong with your batt... my gf set also can last almost 2 days on full charge... she use it for her daily work... my colleague who do sales also like it's batt life but bought an additional batt just in case... i just bought my galaxy sl from digital mall on 26/6/2011. has been using it for abt 5 days now. its a great phone but what's bothering me is the batt life. i full charged at 6am in the morning and by around 3pm its already flat-out i already set the screen brightness to the lowest and turn off the auto-sync i use for few calls which in total i think not more than 20mins a day with some browsing and social network not more than 1hour roughly and some text messaging i also turn on the packet data/gps only when i want to use i just wanna know whether its normal or there was something wrong with the batt because i read the review - they can get abt 1.5 days with some internet, some video and some calls |

QUOTE(raitotobi @ Jul 6 2011, 04:54 PM) Is it me? or Samsung Kies is such a pain in the a**!! Been trying to transfer file for a while but it got stuck!!...blerghh. Any alternative rather than old Kies? thanx guys. Connect to PC using USB, press USB mass storage (if appears). Else go change in settings to ask always.Open "My computer", look for "removable storage". 1 is ur memory card, 1 more is ur phone internal storage. Use it like ur thumbdrive. and yes Samsung Kies sux. |
