Got it for RM1299 without the bundled bluetooth headset. Already had my own bluetooth.

Great phone with a great price.

Though still figuring out trying to move images from one folder to another.... anyone else manage to overcome this?

Not too sure on that. Perhaps those with 15xx have not updated their price. Cause I bought mine from normal retail store is 1299. So perhaps garage maybe can go a little bit more lower.

But not sure what other freebies you get with it. Mine is a standard set with earphones, charger, CD, screen protector and a cheapo bluetooth headset. I think is the store own old stock. Not that it matters to me cause I already got my own.

I too was in dilemma choosign betweenAce and SL. FInally when I saw the priceof SL only 1299, compare to Ace of 9xx. I find it very worth it. the extra resolution made a huge difference in web surfing. and of course got HD vid rec. IF can I would suggest pay that little extra for the SL.

Now just trying to find casing for the SL....

Yup. Should be 1299 or lower. Other stores might be hanging on to old price to earn as much as they can before customers realise the new price.

I asked Official Samsung store they selling for 1699.... 4GB version...
Sunway also about 15xx
But Klang I got it for 1299.
At first the store owner want to sell to me for 1399 include another bluetooth headset.
I said I dont need it, already got a few of my own.
So they swap the bluetooth for a brandless taiwan model. Didnt test it at all. But at least price is 1299.

Anyone got ideas how to update google maps to 5.0 or 5.5? Cant seem to locate it in Market. Pre-installed version is 4.6....


GPS method working but not consistent. I tried all the settings/modes doesnt work. Finally I used the Aluminium Foil method, still can get GPS about 50% of the time... Very weak... Any other suggestions?
