If i just choose between Galaxy S and Galaxy SL, which one u more prefer?

Bought Galaxy SL today.
RM1650, 2 year warranty under Samsung, 2 non-usable pouches, 1 useless unfit (Wave 2) screen protector and 1 8GB MicroSD card.

Galaxy SL stock video player doesn't support mkv files, you can download vplayer or rockplayer from the market to play your mkv files.
SL has better battery but I think it has to compensate the more battery hunger SLCD screen, so I think the battery life for both S and SL is almost similar.
You can try any battery related apps on the market, personally I use Battery Indicator, you can download from here:

well actually yeah, coz Galaxy SL is a bit bigger than SGS, i wonder why. even the battery is standard size

2) Eh do u guys notice the lag in playing video ie TVB drama in rmvb format? the voice seems to come out first....but then mouth movement like 1 step behind the voice coming out....i notice same thing also on galaxy tab.

i have the same problem as yours.
my papago cant detect any gps signal.
there are people in forum said download gps aids or fasterfix from market and it can fix the problem but somehow it requires you to root your phone first but i don't know how to do so.
as i know rooting may void the warranty of the phone but it can be unroot as well

for those who having a problem in locking the gps, i have some tips for you.

Method One – Most Successful , quickest GPS lock
Disable ‘Use Wireless Networks’ under Settings —> Location and Security.
Go into LbsTestMode (*#*#3214789650#*#*) or (use the shortcut method)
Go to Application Settings
Enable MS-Based Mode(in operation mode )
Increase Accuracy to 100
Leave the rest stock
Return to the main LbsTestMode menu
Go to SUPL/CP Settings
Select the Serve FQDN Type drop down menu
Hit AUTO Config
Exit to the dialer and reboot your Vibrant twice for good measure.

Method Two – Untested
1 – Disable “Use Wireless Networks” – Settings / Location & Security
2 – Dial *#*#3214789650#*#*
3 – Under “Application settings” Change “Operation Mode” to MS Based
4 – Under “SUPL/CP Settings” Change the SERVER & PORT to supl.google.com and port 7276 [ Do not use www. in front of supl]
5 – REBOOT
6 – Turn back on the “User Wireless Networks”

Method Three – Untested by myself, but others have said it works
1 – Dial *#*#3214789650#*#*
2 – Go outside to get an unimpeded GPS fix.
3 – Choose Delete GPS Data button.
4 – Choose Get Position Test button. Let it run for 3 min or until you have 10 to 12 Sat locks and back out.

p/s i tried method one and my papago lock less than 30 second.
