Hello there.
I'm an oversea graduate and I'm a fresh grad.
After 3 stages of interview, I'm currently in salary negotiating stage with a company (a big one, in Damansara Uptown). I'm applying for a Level 2 Tech Support.
I just want opinions from you guys what would be a fair salary for me? Would RM2400 be considered low? Or appropriate?

@niclav, Then what would be a reasonable salary? I know my senior who started as fresh grad, started as L2 tech support at Texas Instrument has RM2.6k as his starting salary. Even that, I don't know is that underpaid, high or normal.

QUOTE(maru @ Apr 20 2011, 01:05 PM) can i know the basic for fresh grad in banking line? heard my fren said it getting higher n higher.... working for 3 years as Sales Engineer....basic baru 3k...niama No idea about banking line but... I've been asked to try for Sales Engineer by Agensi Pekerjaan Medi, positioned at Selangor, they want fresh grad, and are willing to pay salary starting from RM4k. On other notes. RM2500 for IT consultant, is it underpaid/OK/overpaid? How about Software Engineer? (both are junior position for fresh grad)

@Ks6678, You serious? That is salary per month or per year? Even if it's for per year rate, that is very high considering that you only have 2 years experience. WOW!!
