Job Title : junior QA engineer
Job Desciption : software testing
Years spent in company : 3 years
Company : local mnc
Industry : it / software
Tenure : permanent
Employment Level : junior
Experience before joining : technical support 1 year, QA/tester 1.+ year
salary : RM 3k (joining), RM3400 (after 2x increament)
benefit : medical, ot (rm10/hr), performance bonus (1 month)

should i looking for better job? if yes what should be my salary range?
so frustrated no promotion after 3 years. talk to my leader which part i should improve as she says no issue with my performance, in fact me is the best in team and my increment is the highest in our team member (4 only). i think it juz sweet talk..

when i asked why im not promoted if my performance is best in our the team (my section got 3 teams), my leader said that im not unique..since when promotion is based on uniqueness instead of KPI ? rclxub.gif

example given is that i'm not doing EXTRA job besides tasks given to me. my leader give example on promoted people from other team but they ALL also did task given by their leader/manager. besides, their promotion is for different level. i think EXTRA job must be 'tolong kipas/aircond' the leader/manager ...

im looking for another ship now...juz try to get idea what could be the salary range in today's market after 4+ year in current post (software testing)...any comment on this? hmm.gif
