So just wondering, are any lowyat members here self employed and making millions? Like those below 30 year old entrepreneurs who are making millions off a self made business?

Im below 30 and im in bird nest industry. Im not making a million but i think it is enough for expenses and building up my investment portfolio consisting of bonds, equity, stocks, reits. Built 4 years ago but only gotten back our investment capital last year. Monthly yield around 3-7kgs. Hopefully can reach a million by 30 since i got 10 years to go. I know someone who yield >30kgs per month in lowyat. That translates 60k-100k per month depending on price. Those guys in home entertainment, property, investment are rich.

Agreed. For me a degree is just permission to work. What you do with that degree is what matters.

Actually i hate the idea degree is just permission to work. That is the flaw of education system. University train students to be a good employee, which they remain poor forever. The real thing is, students should be trained to become an entrepreneur, not an employee.
