Can't agree with that. The industry has above average salaries because of an ever increasing demand for oil and gas, and companies are forced to offer competitive salaries to retain their best employees.

Have you tried applying to other companies in SG or MSIA ?
Might help you explore other opportunities, since you have some experience in your field.

For a person having these qualifications.

Bachelor Degree in Political Science (International Relations)
MA in Development Studies
Master in Industrial Organizational Psychology

Yes, having two masters degree.

Final sem already for the first degree. And will be applying for those masters. Once I finish I will be bonded with the government for a decade. 10 year!!! sad.gif Salary considering fresh graduate at master level will be at RM7K.

Question here is what are the opportunities for career, and benefits I can get at the private sectors and MNCs? I'm not really familiar about that.

I'd say that you have a very good chance of going into management consulting, with these qualifications. You could also try going into the Big4 in their advisory/consultancy departments, if you have sufficient quantitative baggage.

But I've never heard of scholarship bonds going up to 10 years from the government, even JPA scholars only go up to 7 years if I'm not mistaken. Which scholarship is yours ?

And btw, how did you find that RM7k salary estimate for a fresh graduate at master's level ? I'm pretty sure that the average starting salary is well below that amount.
