my earning as below as at PMR leaver
well.. i have calculate for the next five years i think max my basic can go till 3.5k but for next 5 years your expenses my increase more then 30 to 50% from current, so i have too back to get a degree and hopefully with my experience, portfolio and a average cgpa for the next 5 years i can get a snr retail exec position + salary or maybe manager? who knows... just crossing finger to finish this five years asap.

jangan bangga bro... now ur salary memang la almost same... but give it another 3 years... they will be around 4-5k but u stuck at 3k... go further ur studies by part time

Just to share, i start working 4 years ago and at the same time i enroll for part time degree course. As of now, 4 years passed, been through a lots, spending my weekend in class ( most of it), sacrifice weekend to go out and having fun with my friends. At the end of the day, i finished the course and successfully earned degree. Its a hard steps, but you must physically and mentally strong. Been there, done that.

So degree is quite important after all.

Im seriously think i underpaid but the HR insist that they cannot give me higher salary as my previous salary is low and i am not from banking industry. Seems like forever my salary will always below than what my friends earn. I want to jump and quite confident I can simply jump but I really love working in this bank as I just start a relationship with my colleague, got a lot of exposure to handle projects. Damn...the only things i hate about my job is the SALARY!

Salary: RM2,000 basic + 400 allowance
Bonus: half months
Working hour : 9.00am to 6:30pm; Ot till 12 am also cant claim anythings (typical chinaman company)

I'm not sure if its still called part time job.
I'm working part time as in only working for few months until I start my studies.
Though working hour is still full time. Does that help?
