you are bonded 10 years for RM 400?
*
it is rm 480 a month for 10 years.

If u leave the company <10 years time frame, u need to return back every penny they gave u. =_=

If u work within the company for 10 years then u dont have to repay back

This is a tricky situation u r getting urself into...when u wanna quit after a certain amount of years...u will think of this money that u have to payback...
hahaha, be careful...

i'm in some kind of shit like this...but not exactly the same...
*
yes.. exactly bro.. which is why i took up a flexi home loan plan.. i can dump in extra each month to reduce my principle loan amount which will reduce my interest and i can take out the additional amount i dump in each month anytime i want.

THinking to take the home subsidy and dump in my house.. simply take it out and return to them if i wanan resign.

cheers

I have have a job offer with the same role at 5.5k(my basic before was 4.3k) from a competitor but my current company countered offer with 5.8k basic.
It is a rare for my company to be able to counter offer same or higher than the competitor but according to the management
i have the skills to be the candidate for future generation managers. Having to have the recognition shown by the management i decided to stay although the yearly renumeration from the Competitor's are higher than my current comp.
Overall i am happy with my decision to stay and looking forward for future challenges.

your 3+ years experience in semicon too?
mind if I ask, how much is your salary when ur first job in semicon as fresh graduate? smile.gif
*
Yes, i started very low in a subcon manufacturing in semicon industry.
In may 2007 i started with a mere 1.8k basic. worked really hard for a few rounds of promotion.

Jumped ship last year to this new company and enjoying my life now wink.gif

Envy you join a good company that give you opportunity & able to double up your salary in 3 years with in the same company.

I have the same working experience as you, but sadly I only able to reach that level after jumping of 3 company. Even promotion, the company policy (Local MNC) promotion ceiling rate is 15%. I'm in Finance & Accounts Industry.
*
smile.gif smaller company tends to give better increment than big mncs if you are a key player but intense working life and long working hours are sacrifices one has to make.

Now that i am with the new company, my increment for the coming years might not be as great as what i had achieved before but nonetheless i will do whatever it takes to get me the highest ratings for my performance appraisal.

Agree, only if your boss value & appreciate your work. Then you always can bargain with boss for better paid.

But in big company will very hard to strike for good rating & is very competitive. Good luck.

yeah.. just work and pray hard lol

Which one you prefer the most. Yearly increment or bonus?
*
definately better increment.. with better increment u will stand better chance for promotion and etc as well...\
The logic behind is that , if you can perform and that your basic is closer to the salary for the next position, you tend to get shortlisted easier.

Ya, I agreed with both of you. But how if the increment rate is only 2-3% of your basic salary but the bonus is quite attractive which will be higher than your increment rate? sweat.gif
*
increment of 2-3% is not even an increment at all!

normally applicable for the guys who gets ranked " needs improvement"

if u get this kind of ranking u also wont get good bonus lah
