How do you know ure underpaid? There are many senior design engineers with about 10-11 yrs working experience earning only about RM7-8K per month. And im refering to established companies like AECOM, etc. What company are you in?

Based on 1 year experience? But haven't had increment? ='( Working in a Singapore company, but based locally.

Years spent in company: 1.5 years (1.8k-> 2.1k->2.5k) After 1.5 years, baru revise salary to 2.5k this month. @@
Current salary : RM 2.1k (end of this month will take 2.5k)

Am I underpaid? What should I get for the market rate?
Thanks

I am thinking of jumping ship to O&G. Good pay! Good idea for civil engineer?
