Fresh grads pay can start at 1.6 - 4.5k.

RM1.6k jobs are mostly found out of Selangor/ KL although there are still companies that pay that amount in selangor / kl. Generally degree jobs should pay between 2.2k - 2.8k assuming you are an average performer.

Jobs that pay above 2.8k usually are management trainee programs / jobs that require you to be offshore / or if you are the best and manage to management consultancy firms like McKinsey (USD3k starting pay in malaysia), Boston Consulting, etc.

IT role standard pay (Not designing job) RM2.2k - RM4k
Finance pay is pretty standard. RM2.3k - RM3.3k
Engineering (Not Oil and Gas) RM2.2k - 2.8k
Engineering (Oil and Gas) RM3k - RM4k

All the above is based on degree qualifications. Anybody, please feel free to correct me.

Yes, it's depend which industry you in. But in Accounting & Finance... I don't think it is easy to reach 10k. Unless you working oversea, or investment/commercial banking.

But in sales & engineer/IT sector, you may reach that if you reach the sales target or have special skills.

Please tell me your size of company, name. I bet his/her age above 40.

What I like to highlight is Accounting & Finance take years to gain experience to reach higher level & salary. Unless you in investment & banking, probably you can reach in young age with special talent. Who the hack will paid you so much while your experience & contribution so little. Cost-Benefit

BTW with 10k plus salary, your tax will be sky high.

My colleague was a Finance Manager, but when he join, he is same position as me, Team Lead. So those are just title, most important is your paid.

I would rather be a exec, but getting a manger paid, instead of being a manger getting a exec paid. Easy job but high paid.. although just a dream..  

Yea i am 26 this year .. Doing sales, averaging bout 8-10k a month. Nowadays 10k is not hard to do. Its just whether you want to do it. I got a few frens making 10-15k a month doing sales .

Of course if ur the type of ppl who like to sit in office 9-5 kinda job, dont expect high salary when your young. Maybe if once you reach 35+ you will earn 5 figures and all. But if you want to earn 5 figure salary below 30years old, sales is the way. And there are so many type of sales, u can go and choose which one suits you.

I think MNC engineers also slightly higher than local company engineers rite? If not mistaken some one said that Sr Engineer for standard MNC is around 6k rite?
