It is just a RM300 more than your 4.5k offer. If you don't like the current environment and management, you will probably soon looking for new job again. Work for happiness and of course with $$. If the counter offer is something such as 5.8k, then it would be more attractive for you to stay in current office.

If for me, i will know how to choose for just a difference between 4.5k and 4.8k.

Graduate Trainee position already means that the company is treating you as fresh graduate. (Not sure whether your working experience in bank related to DHL or not. Probably unrelated at all.) So the salary near to 3k is consider quite ok.

Yes definitely its tougher now without a degree than before. But there are still avenues for people without a degree, such as sales or entrepreneurship, or working in a skilled trade. Plumbers, hawkers, welders can all make a ton of money if they are good. However for climbing up in the corporate world I do agree with you, a degree is a must nowadays...

Seriously u better have at least 20k in ur bank account to last u a few months without sales first. Real estate negotiator is not easy. Really backstabbing each other most of the time. No sales= no commision. Theres no basic salary .

All travelling costs eg petrol,toll all bear on ur own.advertising fees all on ur own.

Well not sure about IT salaries but yes banks take your basic salary into consideration. Sometimes they dont even consider fixed allowances.

i dont mind to work in KL or Penang but of cause in Ipoh is better, as i can save more.. hehe

and i am majoring in automotive.. but that doesn't mean that i must stick to automotive field in future rite? i prefer semi-cond field..

it might be too early for me to ask these questions here.. but i am a careful person, i dun wan to choose a wrong MNC for my first career and therefore needed advise from all seniors here..

i dont mind to work hard in the starting for few years as i aim to have good salary or income only when i have sufficient experience..
