Hi all, I'm currently looking for a home to buy and stay. As I'm currently looking for a place nearest to PJ, I search in Putra Height. I just viewed Putra Avenue Citrine and loves it. The problem is it's not G&G. I prefer G&G as I'm at work most of the time. I found out about SimeDarby's new project called The Glades. Anyone has any info for on the Terrace Link and Town House prices? My budget is 650-700K. Can the budget make it? Thank You Last heard from Sime, 600K for condo, and >1M for town and superlink This post has been edited by stinky: Apr 2 2011, 11:02 PM

QUOTE(lelynx @ Mar 7 2011, 10:14 AM) the Glades are meant for high-end living will surely hit > rm700k as a benchmark; just check out the Royale Palms there. you can roughly get the average price for this anyhow, there will be a high-end condo for this project; going to be launched within these few months. visit Sime Darby office for more info on this Wow.... >700k for Putra Heights If 700k i can still make it. But if more, i can forget dy. It's for personal stay as i work in Kelana Jaya. That's the closest and cheapest i can find.

QUOTE(naleh33 @ Mar 7 2011, 04:56 PM) OMG, 2.2M for Terrace!!! It is even higher than Jalil City. I thought Jalil City's price is crazy, places like Putra Height is selling at even higher price tag. I wonder who is going to buy. Let's see when it launch. Maybe that salesman was mis-informed on the price. 1.2M sounds possible....but 2.2M I seriously doubt No brochures, no pamplet, no model unit.....so maybe it was a mistake I give him the benefit of doubt. If anyone call Sime, please confirm the price here Added on March 7, 2011, 9:22 pmI'm looking at Putra Avenue now though not G&G This post has been edited by stinky: Mar 7 2011, 09:22 PM

QUOTE(yoki @ Mar 7 2011, 09:28 PM) Hi Yoki, Of cause I prefer GnG in Subang, but at 700K max budget I cant afford The Glades, and not even USJ Height. So i have to consider non-GnG in Putra Avenue. I works in Free Trade Zone PJ, and that's why looking for around that area

QUOTE(naleh33 @ Mar 8 2011, 01:50 PM) Why not consider Twin Palm project in Sg Long? It is one of the best G&G I have ever visited. They are launching their new Semi D, Maya at 1.3mil. Millions again.... Where are all the middle income group houses

QUOTE(cptdina @ Jul 5 2011, 10:37 AM) The glades & putra Heights, starting from: Bungalow - 4m cluster villa- 2.8m townhouse - 1.8m terrace - 2.2m If u ask me, price too steep for that location.....can get same options at better locations close to damansara / bangsar / desa parkcity / Tropicana. One more thing, the 24 hrs security is shared by all type of residences there, which is a big area. Not exclusive. Wahlau.....very steep indeed....2.2M for terrace

QUOTE(tcl7727 @ Sep 24 2011, 08:40 PM) Just went to their sales gallery this afternoon. For the first time a SD's sales person was so attentive to me ! Something must be very wrong, I was thinking. True enough, upon further enquiry, it appeared that sales at the Glades are not that good after all. SD had only launched 3 out of maybe 7-8 phases so far. The 3 phases consist of Bungalows, Townhouses & 3-sty terraces. Overall Sales is only about 30-40% at best, and that's 2-3 months after official launch. Hardly can SD breakeven with such sales figures. This is a total turn-around of the supposedly rosy property market. SD has even halted construction of the commercial units and clubhouses near the development's main entrance, which I have started noticing since few weeks ago ! Is this a sign that the market has finally accepted the reality, and SD's over-pricing of the Glades? Opinion, anyone? I waited for this project for along time until I found out about the price which turns me off. Was initially suppose to buy PH Citrine from subsale for 680k...but decided to wait for this....now terlepas that 680 price dy... And my personal comment; Paying one over million for a townhouse/link house at Putra heights, I would rather buy USJ height or Temesya Glenmarie which is closer to PJ. Just a personal opinion......but of cos i can afford neither.
