QUOTE(stimix @ Dec 8 2011, 05:52 PM) Check front page for avg temp in Feb.. Should be ~ minus 8 to 0 in ealry Feb & by End Feb should be ~ minus 5 to 5C. what type of scalf and glove can find? uniqlo dun have... estimate how muchie? For me, Long Jogn is not really required if temp more than minus 15C. just sweater + Down jacket will do wth good scalf & good glove. Your hand, ear & area around your head like ear & lips more important haha. and 4-5 years ago i was travel to beijing with family and that time is 0 degree and i was freezing like hell. i m the person who really scare cold >_< this time duno la, because i plan to carry my DSLR all the way so duno will help for warming up or not. i m very skinny one, 53kg height 175cm.... QUOTE(stimix @ Dec 8 2011, 08:23 PM) Any good scalf will do but better with those with thermal protection such as wool & etc. I was using my mountain bike buff like this http://www.buffprotection.com/prodEstandard.php malaysia got cheap one ? since need stick hand at outside for pressing dslr And surprisingly really good to protect my neck, lips and even ear even at minus 15c during one of the coldest day in dec last year. Too bad my lousy polyester glove kenot stand such a cold weather and most of the time, I hv to hide my hand with glove inside my down jacket pocket. Really need double layer glove or good leather glove. Leather glove also not cheap in Seoul ~rm60. But if lucky can get cheap in namdaemun and do daemon fashion whole sellers |

QUOTE(stimix @ Dec 9 2011, 07:00 AM) Those polyyester and simple wool type you can get it here from universal traveler, goin places, winter time & etc or even jusco at RM19 till RM35. it's goof from minus 5 till 10C but anything lower than minus 5, just put inside down jacket can liao. Otherwise invest in those leather glove. which will cost you >RM70. anyway I din use leather glove b4 so no idea haha. The cold you experience last time..is it you do not use down jacket? that's one of the most important factor. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « the tallest guy is me, now my little brother is taller than me haha. anyway the sweater was borrow from someone, and i was gloveless that time |

QUOTE(stimix @ Dec 9 2011, 09:31 AM) Wah u're so young. Anyway. you should hv blanco your face as well as your other family memebers as a good public forum practice as you dunno what others can abuse your identity haha.. i never say i m old? That's a jacket & not sweater for sure but I'm not sure whether the materia is "down"? i.e insulated wth pure young goose feather?.. If it's just inner cotton or some cheap material for sure you will feel really cold. A good down jacket you really need abit of investment. Nothing less than RM250 (Even after discount in UT, Goin Places & etc). Those below RM200 down jacket for sure useless in cold wether below 0C. When u said you feel cold at 0C, I suspect that jacket is not down as down jacket can even protect you at minus 15C. even without any long john. Most of the time I was wearing just my down and a tee shirt even at temp ~ minus 8C when I was at Nami Island during mid Dec last year. Well still beareable except my hand for sure haha. I'm not so worry about my face bcos I was using buff to protect my nect, lip & ears. well but in other game forum i consider old? XD now 24 liao anyway i duno la, my dad said that time china trip is not cold... @_@ duh i a bit rage on my blured memory...cant remember what is the feel of winter. gotta get snow cap to cover head and ear, then a scarf for neck and glove for fingers. QUOTE(stimix @ Dec 9 2011, 10:10 AM) Well, probably it's not really cold. just the jacket you use is not Down jacket. You should invest in good down jacket 1st for sure. The Uniglo RM299 super light jacket although abit ugly actually is really a good start. That the lightest down jacket and I think It can withstand even minus 25C!! The moment I tried it in uniglo, I really can feel the warm already. I missed the boat when Uniglo promotion one the 1st day of 1U branch opened last mth. Only RM199 that time.. Even in Beijing & Seoul Uniglow and after conversion, that RM299 jacket is selling there at RM270!! (~RMB499 in Beijing & 9,999won in Seoul). Infact that type of RM299 Uniglo super light down jacket is selling ~ Namdaemun ~ >RM200 also..not cheap!..So try look-out and get that superb super light down jacket 1st eh that is good? i touch it before it feels so light and i thought it is bad lol anyway down jacket i got my friend can borrow me, because he just back study from UK and now got sell discount jeans...duno wan get or not since i wearing is cotton one... i dun like wear jeans in msia ![]() This post has been edited by Agito666: Dec 9 2011, 10:42 AM |

QUOTE(rulmufc @ Dec 14 2011, 08:45 PM) Hi guys, i heard everland need more than 1 day to play because the long queue gonna kill your time. =xIm going Seoul next January [10th-18th] and it was very long time since my last visit January last year backpacking alone and this time im going with my sister and her son, abit excited coz im not alone, lol. So, i'd like to ask some question for those who've been to Seoul. 1. How long is recommended for sightseeing + activities + take photos in Nami Island and Sancheoneo Ice Festival? Is it possible to go both places in a day since i noticed its quite near and its in the same Gyeongchun Line. 2. How long we suppose to spend time at Everland? Is there any shows at night like Disneyland HK where it have fireworks. [I dont want to regret leaving Everland early if theres any show at night] 3. Last year i've been to Vivaldi Ski Resort and im planning to go to different Ski Resort this year and intend to stay one night. Is there any Ski Resort with hostel or motel or budget hotel and how much is it per night? [If can dont too far from Seoul, dont want waste time traveling in a bus] 4. Is there anyone actually go to Station TV such as KBS | MBC | SBS or any Entertainment Company? Haha, hoping to meet celebrities. Thanks in Advance. that's what i heard la, since my company gonna go in febuary like that and my colleague start talking that topic for long time. |
