can any recommend a guitar for a beginner?
i know that there got a lot of similar threads and questions had been asked, and i did surf them all but still i need someone to suggest me an most appropriate guitar before i purchase it. ( feeling would be different before you really need to purchase something)
some guitar in my mind:
yamaha f310 custom acoustic fg 701
my budget is around 300 to 500 (better not more than 500)
who can really tell me some review of custom acoustic fg701 as i can hardly find any review for that although i saw quite a few recommendation in those thread just let me know the strong point why you choose fg701 than f310 or in the oppose
thanks ^^

cort ad810? how much is it? around 500, rite?
actually, for the budget, i hope that can be handle as the less, the better due to the further ugraded needed for the future
just going to have my first guitar to play guitar technique well first and then only consider to buy a better electric guitar or what
for this, still guitar around 500 better? what are the difference for those cort tanglewood in price range about 500 with f310 or fg701?
got anyone use custom acoustic fg701 before, could give some review about this guitar?
any recommendation are welcome, thanks^^

I cannot even find information about the FG701 from Google.. But I do have the Yamaha F-310 and I can say that it is a pretty good guitar for beginner.. Made out of plywood with a top the build quality is satisfactory..sound quality I could say that it is good for what it is But once you've heard solid wood guitar's you wouldn't want a plywood guitar..but for what you pay the F-310 is a good beginner's guitar

Go try the Custom Acoustic, Yamaha and other brands before deciding. Play and see which feels and sounds better. I think the Custom Acoustic is worth a consideration as the name is new so you will not be paying more money just for the brand name alone and the cost saved goes into providing for better wood material. If you compare the two guitar materials the custom acoustic has Mahogany back and sides as compared to Meranti for the Yamaha.

I will suggest you to get 'Evo' guitar if you want to get Yamaha F310. If not mistaken, it's same spec, but 'Evo' cheaper, action low, loud and tone better than yamaha.

instead buying new one, try buying used one first .. cheaper and not so expensive... My first acoustic was a kapok (bout RM90) and EG was Yamaha (EG301 I think)
Most of my skills I learn from there ... after that, u can upgrade to better one...
u shud be able to get a used f310 in this forum about RM200-RM250...

you need more that 500. lower than that, the plus point is just its price.
sound quality, build etc.. will be nothing to look forward too.
maybe there are good cheap ones out there but hey if you just wanna play, then why not

the cheaper the better Coz normally a cheap guitar is freaking hard to fret And that builds up a lot of strength in your hand After five years then you can upgrade your guitar to something that is easier to grip for a better performance

Cheap guitar can be adjusted also. U can do 3 things. Sand down the nut. Then sand down the saddle a little and adjust the truss rod. Problem is newbies will not be confident to make adjustments on their own. I have a cheapo Cort guitar which I adjusted and it plays very comfortable. Cort isnt too bad to start with but it can be adjusted further to make it more playable. Playability can now match Taylor but sounds like err.. a cheap guitar
