cmon guys, if i go by this logic, everytime i buy a nokia and the next month a new model with better specs comes in, should i ask for a refund? Apple launches products on a yearly cycle often in the same timeline, as in september/october = ipods, july=iphone, march/april = ipad, a simple google search of ipad 2 a few weeks ago will point you to the right websites. cheers.

QUOTE(wiraone @ Mar 7 2011, 06:43 PM) Another reason to buy online I guess, do you know that you could return your purchase for a full refund if you decide to do so within 14 days? I didn't know this until someone in MBP thread managed to get his refund/replacement MBP that he bought a week before the current MBP went on sale. i think in his case, its the new MBP that was strong enough a reason to get a refund, but if suka suka want to refund just because u dont know how to use, cannot la. |

QUOTE(Lester1987 @ Mar 7 2011, 10:57 PM) nope, u are wrong, YOU CAN ASK FOR A REFUND IF U ARE NOT SATISFIED WITH THE PRODUCT. but of course, the refund thing is a 1 time thing la. don't tell me u go buy a MBP, then ask for refund after u play with it for 3 days. then buy another iPod Touch, did the same thing, of course Apple won't layan you. But if u are sincerely not happy with the product offered, you can ask for a refund, Apple might charge you 10% of the purchase price as the open box fees, but this is on a case to case basis. a refund is definitely possible, just depends on Apple wants to charge u the 10% or not. i said the same thing read back? i explained the persons motivation for a refund, new mbp refresh if not there wasnt any new launch, would just have stuck with the purchased machine. |

QUOTE(gogo2 @ Mar 9 2011, 09:51 AM) I don't know why he don't understand what you're saying. I dont know why u assume i dont understand since i concur with lester, i merely explained the motivation for the exchange by the person, dont come in here just to troll, read and reply accordingly, oh post just reported.Basically what Apple policy is, within 14 days, you can return your purchase and get back 90% of your purchase price without even giving a single reason. Anyone could not understand this should just get headshot. Added on March 9, 2011, 10:15 am QUOTE(Lester1987 @ Mar 9 2011, 09:15 AM) what i mean is, u can ask for refund even no new macbook launch... its their policy to offer a 14 days cold period because the Apple Online store is following US style. i had a friend whom returned the unit on the 15th day to get a refund, he explained as nicely as possible and they sent DHL to pick it up, what i menat much much earlier with suka suka tukar is those who refund for the sake of refunding without doing any research whether their purchased item might be useful for them or not, as they stand to loose 10%, its a big amount if you CTO a Mac Pro for example, so its a loss on their part not that apple wouldnt want to refund the balance 90%. My bad for being not clear earlier. It all depends on the customer. From Apple's perspective, as long as a cust call in and wants to return the unit because they are not happy with it within the 1st 14 days, they will refund it. but anything after 14 days, i am sorry to say that u are stuck with it. too bad. even the new iPad, iPod or Mac is launched on the 15th day of your purchase, then there is nothing that they can do. so your not need to have a valid reason to ask for refund on the 1st 14 days, just say u don't like the product, pay 10% open box fees, and u get your money back. simple as that.
