what i mean is, u can ask for refund even no new macbook launch... its their policy to offer a 14 days cold period because the Apple Online store is following US style.
It all depends on the customer. From Apple's perspective, as long as a cust call in and wants to return the unit because they are not happy with it within the 1st 14 days, they will refund it. but anything after 14 days, i am sorry to say that u are stuck with it. too bad. even the new iPad, iPod or Mac is launched on the 15th day of your purchase, then there is nothing that they can do. so your not need to have a valid reason to ask for refund on the 1st 14 days, just say u don't like the product, pay 10% open box fees, and u get your money back. simple as that.
I don't know why he don't understand what you're saying. It all depends on the customer. Basically what Apple policy is, within 14 days, you can return your purchase and get back 90% of your purchase price without even giving a single
reason.
