I gonna ban samsung. Slow pork os update

I like my Wave S8500 but Ii think it is time to part with it . Why didn't Samsung flagship model come with steel body like the Wave? I like the metal sound when it fell .

Downloading latest firmware for Wave 2 now via KIES....should be Bada 2.0

Sigh...since nobody wants to buy or trade this phone with me, just keep it as spare phone...haiz...

after i using android, i realised tat some how Bada 2.0 UI is more easy to use compare with android...

Upgraded to 2.0 as well through Kies last night.

Felt like using a new phone all over again.

Aside from the excitement, found a few things that were quite a let down.

1. Built in image editor is no more.
2. No built in Twitter and FB apps.
3. Where's the live wallpapers?
4. No more left/right swipe contact to call and sms, now you can still swipe, but then it presents you with the call/sms etc buttons and you have to touch it again, meh...
5. I tried to shut off all the background running services, especially those that will 'secretly' synchro, but still, the battery life under performs compared to 1.2, this is a big disappointment.

Things I like about the new 2.0:
1. Finally, folder organization!
2. Shortcut apps to main screen

That's about for now, need to spend more time with it, also need to re-download all my apps as they're all gone after the update. :\

Is it something like connection error issue?

If so, go to your connection settings, make sure you assign the connection profile to your 'samsungapp', then it should fix your problem.

hi, i was try already & using wifi also cant open it.. Not the setting problem i thk.. i try with factory reset also .. also Cant .. u Upgrade already do u face the same problem with me ?

wow, just notice that bada 2.0 available @ Kies when I'm backing up my contact just now.. didn't connect my wave to my pc for long time...

Hi, I just change from Digi to Maxis. But after everything is done from MNP side, I change my Digi SIM card to Maxis SIM card... My wave cannot use maxis network. I try to manually select it from Connection menu, but I just cannot select the MY MAXIS network.

I have done few troubleshooting:

a) I tried using Wave with another Digi SIM card.. works fine.
b) I tried using the Maxis SIM card in other phone.. works fine.

just how come I cannot use MAXIS sim card on my Wave???

somebody help me!!!!

try reformat phone... or ask maxis send to u the settings and all...

I got Samsung wave II gts8530 currently running bada 2.0
After change the lcd and the touch screen, the phone cannot connect to
wifi and bluetooth... when scanning the wifi, it search the network, then suddenly it say "searching failed"...

does anyone here have a similar case like mine?
can help me on how to solve this prob???
