my wave 1 is still stuck at bada 1.0
i wanted to go to samsung's service center to update it to 1.2
but called beforehand their call center
it seems that i have to pay RM100 to have my phone updated because its no longer in warranty! zzzz now im thinking of either changing my phone or learn how to flash it myself. cuz im really bored with my wave 1..zzz

any easy method/instructions to flash to 1.2 that i can follow?
and whats the best/latest 1.2 firmware for Malaysia?
S8500XEKH2 or kf3?

mine is ZSJE7..cant even find it on samfirmware..must be realllllyyy old fw..zz

just follow the instruction inside samfirmware...best firmware im not sure because nothing special with bada 1.2 , only minor update anyway . .if i were u , just go straight to bada 2.0 beta (if u can ignore the minor bugs)...

after load the firmware with multi-loader, all apps need to reinstall?...just like already format the phone?
coz temporary i suffer auto restart problem after i update to bada 1.2....

yap.like a new phone...did u try hard reset?,but hard reset also u will lost all the data..

bada 2.0 kh2 and above got function fully back up all data,sms,configuration including apps using kies..i already tried but only apps not working , may be still got bugs..

i updated my phone through kies,it change from bada 1.0 to 1.2,but the problem now is that kies can no longer detect my phone..arghh

haiz... then i dun wan format first...coz if do like tat, i cant dl back nDrive...

Added on September 8, 2011, 2:10 pmu try to reinstall the usb driver (Tools>Install USB driver)...then exit kies and reopen it. then only u plug in ur phone to the computer...
