Cyber already will have a chinese primary school, now need a chinese secondary school. More chinese eateries, more pubs, and big malls. This place is set to BOOM! Most of the speculators are chinese anyway...

Yes, the focus of SP is the expat population...not student or even mid income group.

***********************************************************************************
"Liew is optimistic about the demand as the project will be targeted to high-end customers in Cyberjaya.

“Cyberjaya is a market that you must not ignore. It provides huge potentials as there are ready customers from 5,000 multinational companies operating there,” he said."

"Giving indications based on Setia Eco Park in Shah Alam, Liew said it offered RM2mil for a semi-detached house and a minimum RM3mil for a bungalow."
***********************************************************************************

IMHO, This, together with MahSing's Garden Residence, UEMLand's Symphony Hills will change the demography in CBJ. All these projects (and maybe future landed properties offerings) are all targeting high mid to high end customers.

For mid to low mid income earners...one can choose from the numerous condo, service apartments and apartments recently launched...

Well...as the saying goes, no money, no honey... whistling.gif

Now what is needed is the "attraction factors" to really attract the affluent. My rich friends around me still think Cyberjaya is Hutan, maybe traditional thinking is stoping them...They are looking for bungalow in those address that stands out...

Cyberjaya will be successful to pull in those middle upper income group because they can't really afford "affluent" address, but Cyberjaya serenity offer them a chance to enjoy the "upper class" status...

what are you trying to said? now only i know middle divided into 2, middle lower and middle upper.... you think your so called middle upper really that poor and not afford to buy those your so called affluent address? are you staying in those affluent address? then you must be very "rich"....

Chill bro, I am just a small potato here. What I am trying to say is the "perception" is the key. Alot of ppl judge Cyber without even really taking a close look at the development potentials around this area, simple because the word of mouth that "that is far", why not buy nearer mentality

Budget 2014 will be an unfavorable one. Will be working to reduce deficits and hence will introduce GST. After Merdeka...petrol went up. This will hamper public from buying properties that are still escalating in prices. Once interest rates are revised, mortgage will go up and some people will let go their properties.
*
Marine, good to be vigilant but I have heard the exact statement since 2007. If I listen to all advices and didn't buy any, I will be banging my head to the wall straight

Buy with study, buy with game plan, buy with worst case scenario, buy with fundamental. Anytime is a good buy

Mind the maintenance fee for SH, you need to "feed" the landscape

Went to the sales office on last Sunday, not much progress for the sale of LV in mainland.  People are waiting for new launching?  The price of LV in island definitely will be higher than mainland...confirmed by SA.

Yes, I am willing to pay more for an island unit. Waiting eagerly...
