its remind me tht my friend using old ternado 5k rpm fan on a copper non heatpipe heatsink and perform better than the tower heatsink with heatpipes few years ago by few celcius. after that he told me that the its not practical to use due to the noise and change to tower heatsink

i5 2400 with noctua?
err what's so weird about that hehe or maybe you are wandering why for the locked 2400 needs high performance cooler perhaps. well I am boost my CPU up to 3.59ghz from the default 3.10ghz, and I fold my CPU. Here's my temperature as per my post in folding thread here http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1651444/+140

That is running on 900rpm, if run at 1200rpm must be more cooling I believe
the fan color look like 抽风机 = ='' btw i see some people mods their casing, top exhaust fan with led, the fan color becomes nice the fans are expensive for me will replace with triple CM Silent fan 120mm
I did this monster review when it was prototype, performance was great but it has difficulties in matching casing, not every casing can fit this in. Anyway, due to copyright, I cannot share the review out here, but I rated it 8.5/10
*** I did it when it was prototype and it was last year December So, since this is end product already, I guess it should perform better
