You’ve now amassed in excess of half-a-million followers. I think it was Spiderman who once said: “With great power comes great responsibility...”
Yeah, that applies to Twitter, without a doubt. I’m well aware of the audience that I’ve got and that I have a responsibility to make sure I stay within certain boundaries. And there are boundaries. I’m playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world, so I have to be careful sometimes. There have been quite a few occasions where I’ve consulted the club’s communications department before tweeting about certain things, and there are other things that I know are definitely off limits. But that’s fine – I understand that: the club and the team always comes first.

This could be a real test for Lindegaard, if he's going to play anyway.

Now Arsene oso comes out and hits out at UEFA. Both SAF and Arsene reminds me of Dr. X and Magneto, both of them might be enemy but both of them can team up against mutant haters (governing bodies) rclxms.gif

Oh yea, news is that Fab may be out of the FA Cup tie with a hamstring injury. But after RVP's mindgame on barca, dont take this too serious tongue.gif

QUOTE
Arsène Wenger has revealed mixed injury news ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup game with Manchester United - Robin van Persie is fit, Cesc Fabregas is not.

The Dutchman was a surprise inclusion in the squad that travelled to Barcelona on Monday and ended up playing 55 minutes at the Nou Camp the next day before his controversial sending off.

At his pre-match media briefing on Thursday, Wenger revealed Van Persie suffered no ill-effects of the knee injury he picked up in the act of scoring in the Carling Cup Final and will be available for the trip to Old Trafford.

But the manager admitted he will be without Fabregas for the Quarter-Final clash and said his captain could also miss next weekend’s Premier League game against West Brom.

“Van Persie will be available for Saturday,” said Wenger.

“[Fabregas], no. He had a recurrence of his hamstring problem and he will be out for the next game. Maybe for the next two games.

“He is, of course, very disappointed because it is becoming a little problem for him to [keep] having a recurrence of his hamstring. But it’s a very superficial one.”

Theo Walcott (ankle), Thomas Vermaelen (Achilles) and Alex Song (knee) remain out.

QUOTE(schmeichel7 @ Mar 9 2011, 10:19 PM)
One of the reasons why our academy is struggling to reproduce great talents like the class of 92 is no thanks to the new rule imposed by the FA on scouting and signing new youth talents. In the past, clubs can sign players from any region in the UK.. which is why you have Becks in there even though he hails from London. There is this rule where only youths from a certain radius distance can be signed by the club... The reason why this rule is implied is so that small clubs have an advantage and big clubs do not take advantages on taking away talents from their district.

To me this has tampered a bit on the youth system...

QUOTE(pyroboy1911 @ Mar 9 2011, 10:33 PM)
i think one of the reason can be due to the youth culture as well...u know la youths these days, especially the UK young lads. On the other hand, Spanish youngsters are known to be quite polite (based on some stuffs that i read) and this politeness reflects their mentality. So i think when it comes to be successful in football, they are more dedicated and focused.
*
QUOTE(+Newbie+ @ Mar 10 2011, 10:17 AM)
It's called the 90 min rule. Barcelona can take from anywhere in Spain but United can only take from within 90 mins. That's why SAF has already mentioned he dislikes the rule and now prefers to find youth talent overseas, because they are protected by the EU rule.
Thank sheep, we can finally have some peace and quiet!!
Wow, Spurs really impressing this season. Will they be the new Leeds? sweat.gif
*
now this is the first time i heard such rules. in order to protect smaller clubs, the future of England suffers badly. well, my friend in UK told me that, it order to be fair to both genders, boys will have to play other sports except football while girls must football. this kind of rules will eventually little by little depreived the nation of footballers.

all 4 of them eventually will start but i'm not too sure about Lindegaard.
