I have one weird question.. I dont know if anyone is getting what im getting.. and should have posted this earlier.

Not recently but after the latest firmware update (i dont remember the number). My ps3 started to reset or just red blinks.

Some people said it might be the symptoms of YLOD but the weird thing is, it only happen on certain games and rarely happen.

sometimes after a minute in a game it happen, I turned it on again and I can play for hours and nothing happens. One of those game that i play and this happened is KZ3, Uncharted 2, and MW2(before the update it didnt happen).

The weirder thing is; I can play Dead Space 2 flawlessly for hours completing the campaign without any probs.

I'm suspecting is the firmware but I can't really tell if anyone faced this yet.

Any idea, dear people?

firmware updates are not the cause of ps3 hardware failure. 2 of the games you mentioned, uses a lot of processing power. so your ps3 is getting ylod symptoms.

start saving money for a new slim ps3. your fat will eventually die and even if you repair it, the problem will come back.
