It's similar, but access to it like a network drive. Can do drive mapping on your windows and such. More convenient than hosting FTP service on phone.
Ok, will try it tonight~ Thx ya~ Samsung Galaxy S I9000 Official Thread V14, Galaxy S, live on a smart life

I'm with Arc Launcher few days already, it's smooth and fast~
But somehow, i found it drains battery a lots~ 1 of the reason i stick with Arc Launcher because of the folder features~ Any1 recommend any other launcher that has folder features in home screen and does not drain battery ? |

QUOTE(freakfingers12 @ Mar 17 2011, 08:41 PM) Did you try lock and unlock screen a few times? It's a common bug with CM7. After unlocking should work smooth as usual again. Ok, will try it 1 by 1 see which 1 suits me best~ thx bro~ GO Launcher can even have folders on app drawer. Launcherpro/ADW launcher all have folders on homescreen. |

QUOTE(kmrdeva @ Mar 18 2011, 11:18 AM) Ok guys and gals, have enabled 1.2GHz overclock now to monitor performance and battery consumption. Finally brave enough to try this after receiving my 2700mAh battery from momax.net. Looks-wise, the phone is now a bit chubbier but still sexy. Quite comfortable to hold because the weight of the phone has shifted to a more bottom-heavy orientation. Check out the pics below. Looks a bit fat~ How's the battery life now ? Can last for 2-3 days ? |

QUOTE(erymanthus @ Mar 18 2011, 01:53 PM) For all those interested in flashing to Simply Galaxy 2.6 ROM, please be aware that the Honeycomb theme 2.1 inside the ROM is a bit buggy. There are known issues of white text on white background and black text on black background....this is a theme issue. The ROM itself is very good.Of course you can easily flash another theme over it.....example, the older Simply Galaxy 2.5 theme, or others like Sense, Spectrum etc... So, i need to get another theme, e.g. Simply 2.5 theme to solve the known issue ?Anyway, I still love the Simply Galaxy ROM 2.6...using it now.....it's smooth and nice. However, the letters on the black colour Swype keyboard looks a bit low resolution....not sharp. Just my 2 cents. How is the battery life ? Im planning to flash to Simply 2.6 tonight, would like to hear more feedback about it~ |

QUOTE(lch78 @ Mar 18 2011, 02:08 PM) of course 2.2.1. stock 2.2.1 is already stable... As which custom ROM to flash to, you decide yourself. If you don't like, you can just flash again. First time flashing == 2 hours*, second time == 1 hour*, third time == 15 mins*. Happy flashing. *Not inclusive of download time, backup time, restore time, etc... It takes tat long de ah ? Last time when i flashed to custom rom (winmo), it only takes 2-3mins~ |

QUOTE(erymanthus @ Mar 18 2011, 06:01 PM) It is running on one of the latest XXJQ1 modem. Battery life is okay for me. No major complaints... Thx for the info bro~ As for the theme, why don't you flash first and see whether you can live with the Honeycomb 2.1 theme..if you really don't like, yes you can just flash other Themes onto it. Yes, you can flash the 2.5 theme (according to Simone). At the moment I have also downloaded additional themes like Spectrum, Sense and Paul Diddy. Might try one of them tonight If tonight im free, then i will flash and try it~ Because based on lch78 last few posts, first flashing takes 2 hours~ |

Tried so many launcher alrdy, but seems like none of them can suits me best~ LauncherPro is the most smooth among them all, but i need to rename the folder name in home screen so that i can keep my app tidy. Is there any solution for this ? Go Launcher can rename the folder as wat i needed, but the app drawer, somehow, it quite laggy~ headache now... |
