It's similar, but access to it like a network drive. Can do drive mapping on your windows and such. More convenient than hosting FTP service on phone.

Did you try lock and unlock screen a few times? It's a common bug with CM7. After unlocking should work smooth as usual again.
GO Launcher can even have folders on app drawer. Launcherpro/ADW launcher all have folders on homescreen.

Ok guys and gals, have enabled 1.2GHz overclock now to monitor performance and battery consumption. Finally brave enough to try this after receiving my 2700mAh battery from momax.net. Looks-wise, the phone is now a bit chubbier but still sexy. Quite comfortable to hold because the weight of the phone has shifted to a more bottom-heavy orientation. Check out the pics below.

For all those interested in flashing to Simply Galaxy 2.6 ROM, please be aware that the Honeycomb theme 2.1 inside the ROM is a bit buggy. There are known issues of white text on white background and black text on black background....this is a theme issue. The ROM itself is very good.Of course you can easily flash another theme over it.....example, the older Simply Galaxy 2.5 theme, or others like Sense, Spectrum etc...

Anyway, I still love the Simply Galaxy ROM 2.6...using it now.....it's smooth and nice.

However, the letters on the black colour Swype keyboard looks a bit low resolution....not sharp.
Just my 2 cents.

of course 2.2.1. stock 2.2.1 is already stable... As which custom ROM to flash to, you decide yourself. If you don't like, you can just flash again. First time flashing == 2 hours*, second time == 1 hour*, third time == 15 mins*. Happy flashing.

*Not inclusive of download time, backup time, restore time, etc...

It is running on one of the latest XXJQ1 modem. Battery life is okay for me. No major complaints...

As for the theme, why don't you flash first and see whether you can live with the Honeycomb 2.1 theme..if you really don't like, yes you can just flash other Themes onto it.

Yes, you can flash the 2.5 theme (according to Simone).

At the moment I have also downloaded additional themes like Spectrum, Sense and Paul Diddy. Might try one of them tonight

tried to select ringtone, no sound output
then tried to play tom the talking cat also no sound output

i suspect the speaker 
but maybe sifus have better idea?
