These are the ppl who dont analyse!  biggrin.gif

i know what you meant. people have been telling it was Expensive at $450, $550, $800 and $1,000.
And yes they are the ones who have never bought.
Its always good to average in if you are planning a BIG purchase.
In 2002, i shifted 50% of my investible income into gold.
By 2003, it was 70%.

These are only attracted because its the flavour of the season..... they have no depth in investing.
There are lots of those in the stock market discussion thread.  biggrin.gif

Yeah man.
Some of them, come in to shake the forummer and bla,bla,bla...
Then, BANG they introduce their unrelated scheme or whatever they called it.

I appreciate any advise or remainder, but please don`t go overboard.

Yes gold doesnt give you interest like other investmen schemes. So unless gold appreciates, your money is stuck. But u must also remember that returns on gold based on the past 10 years, have been significant. Gold prices have appreciated 30% since i bought 1 year ago. No other legitimate investment gives you such high possibility of returns. Of course with these returns there also comes high risk in the volatility of the gold price. So like i said earlier, dont put all your eggs in 1 basket.

Kencana petroleum unit trust yields almost 30% per year.

If your stomach cannot churn much risks or volatility, go for diversity or play safe.

For adventurous and Gung-ho player, high risks = high profit.
All eggs in a basket not bad at all, depends on your preference and blood(most important). flex.gif

is that healthy for GOLD surge from July 2011 (USD1487) until now with no correction at all...
*
It does endure few minors correction.

I think the surge of gold currently is healthy if you look at it`s fundamental :
i) U.S debt ceiling resolution & downgraded.
ii) The diminshed of EU .
iii) Rise of inflation in China.
iv) Others (bla,bla,bla..)

At 1st half of 2011, most of the fundamentals are weak and don`t carry much weightings such as :
i) U.S job data & unemployment report
ii) Most of the fundamental is mainly about EU debt.
iii) Others (bla,bla,bla..)

In precious metals, to buy is easy but to sell are not as easy as buying.

Everyone can be a seller but most of everyone cannot be a buyer.
