Nope, banks will only buy back gold that they sold you.  You hv to prove it with their receipt.  The same goes to PG and 1stopgold.  So far, only UOB, KFH and MBB buy back their own gold, CIMB and Public bank does not.  Jewellery shop like Poh kong/Tomei will buy back their own gold at about 13% discount from their daily quoted selling price if not mistaken but they will also accept gold from other source but at at 20-25% discount with TC applied

what FGJAM price has got to do with buying gold bullion unless you want to buy jewelleries

MBB is convenience because there are many branches around..

But UOB spread is the lowest in the market
