QUOTE(Stinky Fart @ Apr 10 2012, 08:02 PM) QUOTE(dlaz @ Apr 10 2012, 08:51 PM) really nice fit kevin.and i love the contrast between the indigo and the red stitching.what jeans is that anyway? it was an orange stitching, but a kinda flaming orange, so looks like red it was custom made jeans, cost me around RM70 only for 15 oz with chambray pockets, custom arcuate and hidden rivet just experimenting in how well it will fade later, i would say that, the indigo is not really thick in the jeans, but the jeans is worth trying, at least before i buy myself a pair of flathead |

QUOTE(gnarkill @ Apr 16 2012, 10:09 AM) yeah, in Indonesia is very horrible, the seller all got the fakes of every brand even like Samurai or IH well that's one of negative impacts from a very high demand of raw jeans market in indonesia.what makes it worse is that there are no real law that protect the brand, even local branded denim got fake version also QUOTE(Calvin Seak @ Apr 16 2012, 02:09 PM) My 3rd pair of Evisu arrived today Going to visit BB plaza 1 of these days to get it altered thanks to bro gnarkill! QUOTE(soulquarianz @ Apr 22 2012, 10:43 PM) this must be stock from Jeans Vault in Jakarta....if yes do check out those IH 25oz...freaking cheap ! for those small waist go grab it ! i suggest you are referring to the denim cault, not jeans vaultAdded on April 22, 2012, 10:44 pm bro what more info you want? try going to sufu...theres a dedicated thread for samurai even sizing guide and visual guide.... Added on April 22, 2012, 10:47 pm depends on what item...for denim i can say their price is a "retail" price....means cheaper then those online shop selling in EUROPE or America.....even including shipping still worth it....the only problem is communication, return, refund etc.....buy only when u r sure the stock is available and know what you're buying specially size, model and cuts.... its from a friend's personal store, btw is unethical to mention the source of people selling it |

QUOTE(soulquarianz @ Apr 23 2012, 06:21 AM) unethical ONLY for those who want to make QUICK BUCKS.... well, so ethical means giving the source of a seller's item and telling the whole world that it is cheaper to get it there, not knowing that the source you mention is wrong? learn the difference!!!ethical if sharing the deals with other denim lover..... check every known forum and theres a section for special deals etc where ppl shared where they can get good stuff at reasonable price...now tell me if that is unethical? imagine yourself going to a store, and tell everyone there you can get cheaper deals at other store. ethical enough? even worse, your assumption of source is wrong |

QUOTE(dlaz @ Apr 23 2012, 10:36 AM) i think you dont mean unethical, but misleading. but actually you get my point right?its ok bro, just sharing here and it goes back to the person where they want to buy and if they really do think what suggested is really a good deal then up to them to still buy there or not. personally, retailers are not just offering simply a product but also customer service and that extra feel of the shopping experience at their store.i would prefer 100 times to a higher priced store compared to the cheaper ones if i feel the extra benefit of going to that store,e.g customer service and etc.but again, comes down to how big the price difference is.lol.its just human nature about the prices. imagine ur selling a rare tee where other people don't know where to buy, then someone just come and tell everyone "the tee must be bought from here!" well, imo its like ruining one's sale if you get what i mean |

QUOTE(chazychaz @ Apr 23 2012, 10:56 AM) No offense to bro kevin and soulquarianz but i just wanna share my opinion here. @kevin i think u mean u dont wanna share ur source but unethical is quite a strong word.. @soulquarianz i got ur point that u prefer to share ur findings rather than making money out of it. My opinion, both of u have their own preferences and i respect ur decision. but as a reseller myself there's few things i need to highlight: 1. From the point of view of a reseller, it is correct they just wanna make profit. But in business, there is nothing wrong with it because the seller always make money from the buyer. However, there must be a mutual agreement between buyer and seller. If both comes to an agreement about the price, it's a win win situation, seller get profit, buyer gets their item. You also may call this profit as a service fee, reseller take their own time looking for bargains, use credit card, send to post office for delivery summore, etc etc. This service also can help those who dont own a credit card to make online puchase 2. However, reseller must take note, they cannot sell more than retail price or it will be unfair to buyer. Maybe buyer dont know the retail price so seller mark up the price so high. This normally appllies to so called limited edition stuff like SE collabs, N&F collabs etc. Reseller in LYN rarely does this way, maybe some people in Mudah did. Therefore, reseller should sell below that retail price so both parties have win win situation again. Buyer buy item below than retail price, seller gains profit. 3. Sharing is good but sharing too much is no good in the long run. Contributors like bro soulquarianz is generous enough to help people out there, i really appeciate that. But spoonfeeding these lurkers not doing them any good. Your findings should help our denim community but bear in mind that this is public forum. Everyone can see what we post over here, including Zairul multiple solution from Mudah, people that open denim boutique from Bread and butter, bro in BB plaza and Boothill shop in Giant Shah Alam. In the end, lurkers and reseller gonna get the bargains first. When u post 25% Redwing cultizm discount, suddenly got people selling Redwing in LYN Stuff for Lads section. See the trend Anyway, im just voicing out my opinion over here so maybe we can come out to a solution. I already buy things online for a year, and i see these denim community starts growing up. Most of them already know how to buy things so i might share my findings to you guys, and maybe you u guys can share your findings too.. It is true that all those denim forum like Superfuture and Styleforum got their own Bargains and Discount Code thread and maybe we should create one too..I always come across great deals but i cannot buy everything because of money constraints, so i might let others to copped these bargains. but this thread maybe need some regular contributors, and maybe need password to see the link to avoid lurkers. Those who wanna know the password must pm the Moderator, and maybe those who wanna these password can can contribute a lil bit. These funds maybe we can use for denim competition winning prize. I already think about this for a while but not really sure how to make it works especially the password thing. If u guys have any further comments just let me know QUOTE(soulquarianz @ Apr 23 2012, 11:09 AM) ok "SMART BUSINESSMAN" sorry for interrupting or maybe spoiling your chances to make some easy bucks....i might be not getting the right name but i'm just guessing or asking...so why suddenly u feel offended? even the name is wrong so by right it should affect your potential business.... well, if someone is offended, why not just apologize instead of flaming another argumentALSO, bear in mind ...most of the time i'm here is to help my countryman, sharing info mostly.....so again is't wrong or unethical to tell them where to get stuff at reasonable price?....i for once never hide my source...coz this supposed to be a hobby.....i'm here to make friends.....not enemy.... again by all means if you want to make easy money from some of us or malaysian buyer....go ahead...no body stopping you... but asking me to learn...oh my....i guess ABOUT TIME FOR YOU TO LEARN SOME RESPECT WHILE YOU"RE IN MALAYSIA..... Added on April 23, 2012, 11:23 am ok i have no qualms about it.....i'm cool and understand including your situation as a seller....and again sorry if i shared too much (maybe it will affect a lot of "potential businessman" here)...from now onwards i guess should just kept it between myself or among ppl i know if theres a deal etc or where to get/purchase stuff etc .......which is good also but then again as a malaysian i dont want them to suffer buying item overprice double or triple then retail....i just want to do some good deeds where they or anybody can find stuff at bargain or reasonable price....again if it's wrong to shared...i'm sorry...but my last msg is be a smart buyer and dont get fooled...extra money can be use for other thing.....remember this is just a hobby ! "but asking me to learn...oh my....i guess ABOUT TIME FOR YOU TO LEARN SOME RESPECT WHILE YOU"RE IN MALAYSIA....." im really offended by this statement, discriminating in all point of view you dont even know the jeans price, then you say i'm making easy money, you dont even know the hassle i've been through looking and compiling, comparing stocks, the process from transfer charge, transport and everything. the thing is that, if the price doesnt suit you, there's no point going mad about it well, things about japs denim is that it is hard to find price below retail price right, it is only cheaper if one can directly go to japan and buy it, abandoning the shipping cost other fee to be honest, ill say, the jeans are stocked from different2 place from my friend, price including international shipping are the same/slightly more or less expensive then selfedge around RM 20-50, i charged 5% of the total value which will be deducted by RM27 from the transfer charge, around RM10 for local postage i made roughly RM30 if you wanna know but if you can find the size you want in other place, you are welcomed and suggested to do so i'm not robbing or pushing someone to buy, but if one agree with the price stated, i'll be happy to process every order, im truly glad that one member just bought the size 34 flathead from me and just processed shipping today if you can't get the size or brand like nudie and apc, i always recommend them to other seller like chazychaz, which i have recommended some i'm sorry if some of my words offended any of you guys, which i never meant to also for my 'sensitively' offended manner let's have a big heart and apologize to each other |
