haha mampus aa pakai girl's jeans.
i guess 100++ considered quite cheap yeah?i think its supposed to be around 10% like that of the total package value.and sometimes they add up the postage cost to the value even though its free.

it's cheaper if u pick up urself from klia custom..and u can test ur negotiation skill..however i skip the hassle, ask poslaju to settle all by paying them rm49.80..pick up my parcel at nearest poslaju and total bill comes up rm100++ including poslaju pick up service fees..But as i heard the most tricky part should be dealing with custom..if u say ur parcel value same as declared inside invoice..be prepared to show the real invoice and value must be the as declared..As i heard once they found out u undervalued the parcel, they might imposed more tax or even worse compound your parcel..however i just hearing rumours, not sure true or not..

yeah i got the experience once for shoes from US.i went there directly to the klia mel kurier, and tried to nego with the kastam officer.then he said theres no nego, its according to the kamus of kastam bla2.then i do muka sedih, senyap for a while, look runsing.haha.then he told me to get some dummy form at the other office, then i filled it in and passed it back to the officer.then last2 total came to 100++ for the tax.so i guess better let the poslaju settle it,then no need to go to klia, tol and gas some more.haha.
i think if have to show the original invoice, then we can just photoshopped the invoice and reprint back.haha.

When i collect my iron heart at kastam, they ask me how much is the value. I told them 40gbp, as it is declared 40gbp. Then they ask me to wait. Wait for a while, then they call me, ask me to collect the form and give it to the other counter to take back my visitor pass. No tax at all. smile.gif

40GBP is RM200.shouldnt get taxed.
my shoes back then that got kastam tax was listed $250 (RM750) and shipping was $75 (RM225).
but now recently i had shipments with DHL,highest was $200+ around RM750,didnt get held up with kastam.i think cause the DHL goes thru subang airport while the USPS or other that will link up with Poslaju will go thru Mel Kurier KLIA and mostly kena tax.

i just remembered buying a shoe, from sweden.they lowered the value to 50 euro (rm250),and it was free shipping with fedex.when i went to collect at fedex, got tax rm50.so weird la.i think DHL better.haha.

photoshopped?wow never though of that idea..anyway u can skip all the hassle and invoice whatsoever..once custom call u saying that u got imposed tax on ur parcel..they said they will poslaju form to u..the next day just call the custom lady and said the form never arrived..then they will suggest appoint poslaju via telephone..ask name and ic whatsoever details..poslaju guy will pick up from klia mel for a fee around rm49.80..and u need to pick up from neareast poslaju as stated address..however if u are super lazy can ask poslaju to send to stated address with additional rm40++

buying from usa or uk i also never got taxed..an exception of buying from cultizm..

Usa-usps
uk-royalmail

these 2 courier easily can avoid tax one..

But if use fedex or dhl sometimes kena sometimes dont..like bro genocide never been taxed buying from cultizm but i always kena one..

However buying from japan is another thing..Custom very interested with stuff from japan..if seller send with normal postage envelope is ok..but if they send u limited edition jeans in a big box and declared ur stuff too low..custom guy very suspicious u know..

That's why i love shopping from UK..VAT reduction and easy avoid tax..

again..it's more on luck..if custom believe ur parcel lower than rm500 should be no tax..if custom say ur parcel more than rm500, even if u buy something that value rm10..u still need to pay tax

and i believe declared value should be total CIF(cost+insurance+freight) inside the invoice..that means, let say jeans cost about usd150, but shipping cost plus insurance, handling fee etc will cost another usd50..the jeans itself not exceed rm500 but the other additional fees make it taxable..i believe that's why i always got taxed buying from cultizm..

Hi all, I just bought a pair of Evisu raw selvage jeans over the weekend. As I understand from the sales person, it is better to wear it at least 6months to 1 year before 1st wash. I wanna check with you all how you all keep it clean
