Got an email from Jay @ Blue Owl. He's working together with Naked & Famous to re-release some of the older N&F models (in other words, clearing out the stock). Limited sizes and models available. All discounted.

I really wanted to get a pair of raised denim in the skinny guy cut (previously had one in slim guy but I hated the cut). Unfortunately, there are only sizes 33 and 34 left, IIRC. They also have Frankensteins (!!!!), the light purple denim, Momotaro collabs etc etc. All for way, way, way cheaper than buying from MUSA, even including shipping.

Nudies Slim Jim

Attachment waxed jeans (can't really see shit, but it's my favourite fit of all the jeans I've tried - and I've tried a shitload)

Frankensteins pre-wash. Haven't been wearing them close to enough to justify washing but I had some nasty shit spilled on it. Took a lot of other pictures pre-and post-wash, but haven't got around to uploading

Frankensteins inside out before washing

I have a question, I know g-star raw jeans can't be found in Msia or the chances is slim.  But do any brand in msia provide similar jeans with design like them, i like how they play around with zip, pockets and the design around ankle on the jeans but most selvedge jeans i saw in msia are just plain in the design.

And another question, anyone know about this brand super dry?
*
G-star 'RAW' jeans are f***ing shit. They're not raw in any sense of the word, they're pre-distressed junk. If you want Vivienne Westwood-ish elements to your denim, go for Vivienne Westwood. The jeans you posted are objectively and subjectively disgusting. Jeans #2 has stupefyingly horrendous back pockets. Jeans #4 is both tacky and ugly.

Superdry, the faux-Japanese brand from England, is huge in a lot of countries right now. Thankfully that disease hasn't spread here yet. Very mediocre quality, tacky, overdesigned, and overpriced

I've been following your Frankies since you first posted on your blog.. or was it here? Those jeans look so unique. Are they raw though? They have streaks of gray, light and dark idigo all over that I'm not quite sure what sort of jeans they are. One of N&F's experiments? Looks promising though - please post pre and post wash as well as more fit pics. And make sure we can see more of the jeans xD
*
Haha, I'm pretty sure I posted pictures here before - a long time ago. And yeah, they're raw. It's a bunch of ridiculous alternating mix twill and the jeans were uncomfortable as hell to wear when I first got them. Very very scratchy and rough inside. Blue Owl is collaborating with N&F to sell deadstock though, you can get in touch with jay if you want a pair tongue.gif

I'll get the pics up after exams. Or after the post-exam partying. Or after the Christmas parties thumbup.gif

Is that really your best response? rclxms.gif

radiohead, tapered refers to the hem being smaller. Tapered jeans don't flare out down past the knee, they get smaller.

Cool stuff, junky_man.

Hopefully will get around to adding pictures, but for now, a list of jawnz currently in rotation:
- Naked & Famous Frankensteins, Weird Guy cut
- N&F indigo stretch, Skinny Guy cut
- Attachment black wax
- N&F broken twill, Skinny Guy
- Nudies Slim Jims

Also, if anyone's interested in a pair of jeans from Jil Sander (one-wash I think, soft and feels goddamn incredible), hit me up

Relaxed fit, one-wash denim. Fit was definitely not for me, but the fabric was pretty awesome. Check out the texture here:

Interesting inner pocket colour:

One of the things I hate about N&F is the size of the back pockets. These ones are a lot smaller, around the size of APC or so:

Impressive discount, considering small sizes still available. They don't ship to Malaysia though

The detailing is plain as hell, just straight up raw denim. Can see pictures online. The construction is average, nothing great. I've heard a lot of complaints (online) about buttons popping etc but never experienced any problems myself. Wore mine for about 2 months and had a crotch blowout though.

yes, i heard few bad things about unbranded...but that is the cheapest selvedge jeans available...
and that is what u get for what u pay... smile.gif
this guy who work with n&f had documented his unbranded journey for a year

2 month and got your crotch blowout already?
the jeans might be tight as hell and u wear it everyday?
*
As tight as my other jeans and I only wore it 2 or 3 times a week lol. I once wore it non-stop for about a week though, that was when the crotch ripped. Bit surprised, but as far as I can tell, it's not a common problem among other Unbranded jeans. The buttons popping, loose threads etc are more common.

Can hem them, though I either stack or cuff/roll all my jeans that are too long.

Didn't take pictures yet, but I recently got a pair of Nakkna jeans. Lightweight jeans with 2% elastane, but it's not exactly stretch denim. Has some pretty cool 'panel' details, will get pics up soon

Hey, does anyone have any good pointers on how to remove sweat from jeans without washing them? The humidity here is being a real b****, I've tried pretty much everything (dry both outside and inside-out, kept in the freezer etc) and most of my jeans still smell of sweat. They're quite a number of wears away from my target wash, so I'm trying to find a way to clean out the sweat without actually washing them.

All help greatly appreciated.

Sample size of 1, of course.

Anyway, Josh is a pretty stand-up guy. He sent me to the airport when I was coming back from Canada. We were actually from the same uni and met through Styleforum.

He has a pretty crazy beard now though, latest I checked

By the way, I'm selling a pair of Attachment waxed jeans. Lemme know if you're interested.
