Yeah I'm just annoyed because Blueowl has cheaper pricing than Take5 even tough they're at US/Canada. Thought shipments to Asia would've been cheaper from Take5. Oh well, maybe Blueowl has better connections with the dudes at Momotaro and managed to snap some better bulk pricings.

If you're talking about raw ones it'd be better if you rock in continuously so it ultimately becomes your own perfect creation at the end of the day. Other than that if you're mentioning other denims that already have their own washed style or design then it doesn't matter if you have 10 pairs to rotate with.

Touched down Bangkok today. Can't wait to visit Take5 and Pronto soon. Hope they have Momos my size so I can finally find my best fit.

Just checked out that AW webpage and damn this is one heck of a brand for a one-man army. I'm really interested to get a pair off them but their pricings including shipping, rapes.

Saw Brandon (the N&F founder) at Pronto earlier. Was showing off the "world's heaviest denim" and letting it stan on its own. Touched and felt it and you really have to be a robot to rock those.

Post your progression pics Vyron.

Anyway, Siam Square's structure is confusing as hell I couldn't find Take 5. Anyone can guide me better? Like what shop is it close to etc.

Thanks!

h11g, thanks smile.gif I found it today and really impressed with their collection. So tempted to buy many of the denims but budget constraint stopped me from it. Really worthy of a visit, I love their store layout and design smile.gif

Fit looks surprisingly slim for the Tight Straight model, I thought it was the Skinny Straight model at first glance. I could go for the new Tapered fit now.

Finally decided which fit I would go for: the Skinny Straight Momotaro X Japan Blue. Initially planned for the new Tapered Fit but Jay told me it's similar to N&F's WG cut and coincidentally I have tried the model before and obviously the fit isn't to my liking:

So I went ahead with the 0100SP. It's also nice that they (Blue Owl) offer free hemming service laugh.gif, one problem solved on finding reliable hemming services!

That was the N&F x Momotaro I had last time. Size was 29 but actual waist measurement was around 31" me thinks, that's why it's loose. My waist is around 30-31.

It is definitely too loose.  the 0100 will be tighter and skinnier especially the top block

Yeah, my 0100 just got shipped today. Hopefully can receive it within a week. Can't wait to rock it.

Aside from all the love for raw denims here, does anyone actually has any interest with raw denim jackets instead? A bit of shameless plug here but I'm trying to move these around so if anyone's interested give me a holla smile.gif

Hey guys, anyone know if it's possible to alter (slim/taper down) a selvedge denim without losing the selvedge? If yes, anyone knows any reputable or skilled tailoring shop that does so? Thanks!

lol my bad on the typo. It's the Skinny Straight model. I went a size down and I couldn't button all the way up. After a few minutes of struggle I managed to button it up at the risk of suffocation laugh.gif Gonna rock this as much as possible so it stretches over the time.

Received it today and already wore it at noon to the Setia City Mall. I really love this fit and I think it's my holy grail of fits so far!

Here's the leftover from the hemming, maybe I can make a small pouch or something out of this? lol

@kerryking, yup and the fact that they're using the Union Special machine for the chainstitching process makes it even better laugh.gif

lol I'm not a lefty but I put my wallet on the left backpocket because I want the Battle Stripes to stay intact and not have the wallet fades on it.

Anyway, went to Singapore for a couple of days and I was everywhere with my Momo JB. It's not that stiff now and I'm liking this pair more and more. It's like an addiction, I want to have him on me all the time. Was pretty fun swinging around with it on the roller coaster rides (we totally conquered Battlestar Galactica tongue.gif) and whatnot.
Just sharing more fit pics to the thread (I know we love pics more than talks laugh.gif)

Once again, this is my best fit ever of my denim-wearing career. Loving every single bit of it!

checked back your recent posts to find out what model that is.damn that skinny straight looks good.your previous pics' angle didnt really show the knee and below.i was skeptical since it was a skinny straight, turns out it looks good.cause i'm more of a tapered leg kinda of guy.
arggh...fark i'm really2 in love with your jeans.
@jhchong:nice wallet fade.6 months and thats quite a progress.guess you wear jeans everyday?

I was kinda looking for a slim/tapered fit at the first place and after asking for opinions from Jay about the new Momo JB Tapered fit, he said I would be better off with the Skinny Straight instead. Took his advice and bam, found my dream pair smile.gif I went size down and found it really really hard to button up at first place but now it's getting better. Can't wait for it to stretch more in the coming weeks so I can don on it more comfortably.
