Are all the maps much larger now compared to the ones they've removed?

And finally Steppes has been removed. There goes my 75% win rate vs. Zergs map sweat.gif

Just veto the three new maps minus the remade Lost Temple and you'll be fine LOL even though Crap Station is still there.

Tried Slag Pits, it's such a small map that total base is only 10 in total (Same amount with Steppes). Rush distance from natural to natural is so short it's almost too risky for Zerg to FE.

All the new maps have short rush distance if not spawn cross position. Even close by air spawn position has shorter rush distance than those of Metalo and Lost Temple.

Anyway stim research and bunker build time are getting nerfed on patch 1.3. Guess blizzard compensate this by making the maps smaller? I'm going to laddering hard before the next patch is out LOL.

Metalopolis spawn position has been fixed so that no more close spawn? Or this only applies to TSL3 modified Metalopolis?


Added on March 21, 2011, 2:04 pmEdited: Just checked out and it only applies to TSL3, besides on Shakuras only cross spawn is possible.
